He looks warm and cozy in his pretty fur coat. My nose is cold today. Guess I need to stoke up the fire. Cause there ain't gonna be no fur coat for me. :0)
What a sight for sore eyes! Actually for an eye with a hole in it. I suddenly experienced very distorted vision in my left eye just before Thanksgiving. Last week after hours of testing and meeting with a retinal specialist, I was diagnosed with a hole in my macula. There is a small chance it will correct on its own, but I'm probably facing an operation that will require that I lie face down for 5 days. At least it isn't a result of my cancer. I was fearing it might have emerged in my brain. Thank you so much for the photo of my obsession Betsy. Seeing him always gives me a lift. Lynne
I thought you might like this! :) So sorry to hear about your eye! That sounds very irritating! Let's hope and pray that it heals on it's own. Keep me posted, ok? Sending love...
I know he's for Lynne... but we are all in love with him too! Is it bad to have a favourite? Grin. Mind you I have a fondness for Marmalade... and Samantha... and... :-) love him posing in front of the KitchenAid. He has such a wonderful, almost intense expression in this photo. Very sweet kitty.
He is special, that is for sure. Maybe it's because of his story and how he came here that tugs at our heart strings. And then that he's beautiful and has such a wonderful personality...well, that's just icing on the cake....or cat. ha.
He is one handsome cat, Looking at him I can understand why the ancient Egyptians worshipped their cats and treated them as family, sometimes better than the family. He looks at the camera (and you) as if to say "I know something that you don't!"
He was waiting for a treat Because he thinks they're neat. Staying up high, don't you know As the other cats were on the floor below. He thinks the closer to me he can get The better chance of a treat, I bet.
Nugget is fine! He has an eye infection so needed a prescription for that. Got his nails trimmed, too. Good as new. He's an old man rabbit...doc said he's never heard of a rabbit living longer than 8 years and Nugget will be 8 in August.
When I was married, about 1968, we had a cat called Thomas (after Tom and Jerry) who was the same colour as Slate (if that is the true colouring as shown in the picture). He was a beautiful cat just like Slate. He lived to be 18 and died peacefully in his sleep. Never have I missed a cat so much as him. Cats certainly make a very deep and abiding impression on our lives.
