    1. He has had such a fun time with that card...you can make a train as long as you want and choose the order of the cars. Then you can drive it through a little village and control the speed. He giggled the whole way through!

    2. I'm so glad - now I am going to have to go look at that card and play too!

    3. I saved it so he can go back and play with it again!

  2. Marmalade is lying right beside Spencer and Spencer's not even flinching? Hee hee. I love that. And how pretty your little tree looks in the studio at twilight. Lovely. I'm glad that Santa's cheery face is still up!

  4. Love that Cardinal shot.
That brunch looks so delicious ~ I think Suza and I would be fighting for it ~ oh on second thoughts I am a gentleman and I would let her have it . . . lol
Yes Marmalade is right by Spencer and he doesn't seem to mind . . or is it Slate he objects to . . . :)

Looks as though you are having a nice day . . . :)

    1. He doesn't mind a cat sleeping near like that. It's when one tries to snuggle down in bed with him or rubs up against his legs. ha.

    2. Lovely pictures yet again.

Eddie - While you and Suza were fighting over that brunch I would be eating it while watching you two!

Somehow I get a feeling that Dinky has been messing about on my computer. I caught her dancing on the keyboard. I hope she hasn't be trying to email your cats, Betsy.

    3. Actually, Keith, Dinky has written me twice today. Smart kitty you have there...very articulate, although particular and a bit demanding. We've been having a very nice chat. Her typing is better than yours, actually! ...lol....ducks....

    5. Someone told me recently that true friends are always honest, even if it's something you might not want to hear. :) haha..Maybe she really just figured out how to turn off that auto correct thingy.

And hey...I hear you've been giving Dinky flying lessons!

    6. Uh-oh - I have brunch competition. I better sneak it away from the table quickly and go hide to finish it. :-)

  6. I liek the upholstery you've used for your chairs. The colors would go quite nicely in my kitchen. Was that part of the reno?

    1. Yes, it was....they are chairs and slip covers from World Market. I just did the two end chairs.

    1. A great view indeed as he's hidden away.
Can't see him at all standing up at my bay.
Unless you pull out a chair to sit
and then he may just be startled a bit.
      ha.

  11. Looks like your snow has melted. Ours is slipping away too. It should be gone just in time for February when it will return in great amounts.

    1. Marmalade has become a very photogenic cat! He wasn't even my favorite from the litters but I've grown to love his orange-ness. ha.

  14. I love your random shot posts! Your breakfast looks good. How do you make your eggs so pretty? Are they poached?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I thought they looked poached, too! But they are just over-easy. The whites weren't so thin that they ran all over....wonder why! They were fresh and tasted fine. hmm...

    2. You just must be better at eggs, than I am! :)

    3. I don't think so..lol...I usually have to cut them apart so I can flip them over! Now that I think about it, I did use a different pan instead of my usual little skillet. I'll have to make them again and see if that's what did it!

  17. Just love your photography. Your food pictures just jump off the screen. Is that a cat I see in the background on the desk by Spencer?? I'm checking out getting a KitchenAid which I've wanted for years, and I received a little surprise extra money, and that's what I'm going to do with it. You have such a good memory....remembering my little Nissan got a new paint job after my fender bender....love you.

    1. Yes, that is a cat! Marmalade. Neither seems bothered by the other. haha. I'm so excited for you to get a Kitchen Aid! You will love it...boy will you be cranking out the cookies then! haha. How fun. What color are you going to get?
