A Little Sprinkle Of Snow

Since we don't have any snow,
I played with some powdered sugar and made
the brownies look delightfully wintry.

These are Ghirardelli Brownie Mix brownies.
They're my favorite and that's saying a lot from a girl
who only bakes from scratch.  Better than scratch!
I do the directions that make thicker, cake-like brownies.

Snow is optional, but I highly recommend it!

  2. I don't think I have tasted a brownie, in fact I rarely buy cakes. Next time I'm in the Supermarket I will make a point of buying some. They must be good if you recommend them, you have impeccable taste.

    1. I can cook, and bake all types of bread, but when I try to make a cake they are invariably a flop! *

    2. Well, make sure you get this brand if you can. I don't like the others...I think they taste fake.

    1. More? Not here, I don't think. Last dessert was sugar cookies and strawberries!

    2. I meant in general. I just tossed a bag of candy corns in the trash this afternoon. Apparently sugar likes to linger.

    3. Candy corn doesn't last more than 2 days here. ha.

    4. I keep forgetting that I've run out of children. Ha!

    5. None of my children eat it but I still buy it. After 2 bags, though, I made myself stop. I have no self control over that stuff. haha.

    6. I hate throwing anything edible into the trash (That's why leftovers have to grow fur before I toss them... ha ha! Just kidding.) but I am the only one who's going to eat them. Well, now I'm not.

  11. Ghirardelli Brownie Mix - I could make a mix! I will have to see if we have it here. Looks scrumptious. No snow here either. Sigh. Haven't had it since before Christmas and then it only lasted a few days. I have new mukluks and everything and no snow to stomp around in. I hope these brownies help your cold... just what the doctor ordered! :-)

ps the sweater is going to look way more "homemade" than "handmade". It is going to need to be designated for gardening. Ha! Looks like I may have gardened on it in some spots. hee hee Thank you, Betsy.
