Hi Betsy, Your photography is always wonderful. Such pretty vintage ornaments and I love the little snowman under the cloche. Now, for the candy.......I love it all, especially the peppermint bark! Wishing you guys a merry Christmas!
Such a comforting... and delicious looking post. I have not had a lot of candy around but have had various chocolate treats and lemon pound cake. Oh, and chocolate peanut butter ice cream with tiny chocolate peanut butter chunks in it. Sigh. I need to start the salad days soon! After Christmas...
Lovely warm post! And I'm in love with your vintage ornaments!! Please let me know if you ever come across some vintage ones in pastel colors. :) I'd love to buy some for next year. Merry Christmas to you and your family, dear Betsy!!
I love your vintage ornaments. We have some and they are my favorite. I have been indulging in too much candy already. I've been enjoying Ferrero Rocher, chocolate covered cherries and my favorite, gummi worms. The Ferrero Rocher are chocolate covered hazelnuts. And it's hard to find gummi worms and bears made by Brach's. Tom found some the other day and bought me eight bags! He left two bags on the shelf because he felt bad buying them all : ) Your peppermint bark looks yummy. It always seems so light and refreshing. And your three wick candle looks so pretty. I always like the design that a three wick makes as it burns.
I've eaten too many sweets, too! Having that party here last weekend didn't help at all! haha. Well, actually I don't think I've stopped since pecan pie at Thanksgiving. There is some Ferrero Rocher in the candy dish in the picture above...one of my favorites, too!
Laughing at Tom buying all those bags of gummy worms...lol....aw, he loves you! :)
Visiting your home at Christmas is always fun, as each year, I see new things. Yesterday we were given two really nice green mugs from the staff that say Villa Ramona. I thought that was a nice touch. Last night we used them and tried out some of the hot chocolate we got in the Christmas Tins. Very nice. I like your white cup with the touch of red and candy cane.
I don't see any 'Dove Cookies & Cream' in those dishes. Would you like me to send you some? I just happen to have a few left that a nice lady gave me. . . . .
