Sharpie Mugs

Yesterday afternoon four of us tried our hand at making
our own designer mugs using Sharpie markers.
We used these instructions HERE. (Method 4)
They've been baked and are waiting a clear sealant.
Fun!

    6. Could not resist solving this puzzle . . . someone has to Keith otherwise we shall both be a pair of MUGS

I think the one on the right is Betsy's, the one with the moustache is Taylor's, the one with the Hands is The Mister's and the one with the L is Karen's . . . . Now go on tell me what a horrible load of rhubarb that is . . . . rofl . . . :)

If it is wrong I shall storm outside with Keith in a huff and build a snowman . . . lol

Bet you thought I'd draw cats,
but then they'd steal it stat.

    2. Cats or birds would have been my guess
      Maybe both playing chess

    3. Could have done cats and birds with ease.
Certainly better than dogs and fleas! ha.

  4. Oh, this makes me wish I bought those plain white mugs I saw in Goodwill the other day, and some oil based Sharpies too. But then I wouldn't have known to buy any of that previous to tonight,
I'd play the guessing game but that's been figured out already... They're all great, by the way. Maybe I can play the game if we ever get snowed in come February.

    1. Valentine Mugs...or any mugs.... would be really fun to do some day when you're snowed in this winter! A nice thing to have on hand.. I got my mugs at Big Lots. $1.65 each.

    2. I do love Laurens "L" mug, and I think it would be fun to see what Jim and Michele might come up with as a a design. Maybe next time.

    3. I think hers turned out the best! She printed off the letter from the computer and taped it to her mug to put the dots around. It looks professional!

  6. Hi Betsy - interesting to see the designs created. You had us fooled - me too! Good guessing game ... and a cheap and cheerful fun project to keep non-train guys happy and entertained ... fun to see these .. cheers Hilary

    1. Oh, I bet you got them right. Eddie and Keith probably confused you. haha. Yes, the non train people did this. The train boys were enjoying their new stack of train DVD's....and they still are! Some presents are still wrapped and under the tree. They are not interested because they know they are clothes or some other boring thing. haha!

  7. Great idea for a group activity, especially since you're all creative. Does the "Like a Boss" mug say something on the other side?

    1. No, it's blank on the other side. Lauren duplicated her L on the other side and the hand is drawn all the way around. I think we all did a good job and it was a fun thing to do all together.
