How pretty these photos are. I especially love the last one. The colors are beautiful.
Slate sure had fun with that ball of twine! I was hot gluing it on a lamp shade and he was snoopervising. hahaha....
Sometimes the simple things are just the prettiest! :)
Good job!Cheers!Linda :o)
Lovely sunshine for photos today!
That greedy Cardinal has eaten half a jar of birdseed, and now has the cheek to guard the rest to keep for himself! I don't know how you put up with behaviour like that Betsy !
I've named him Keith! hahaha....just joking, of course. :)
I love your photos, Betsy. The cats are so sweet. Have a good evening.
One of them is always doing something camera worthy! haha.
I love all the pics but especially the last pic. When by a time we care a kitty loves play like this!
They do love to play! He got himself all wound up in that! ha.
ha. that last pic looks like someone fell asleep playing...and the middle cat, def looks mischievious...ha
He does, doesn't he? But he was awake...rolling around on that twine, having a great time!
You got them all inAll the activities needed at one's binI'd have to hide that last one thoughOrlin would eat the crap out of the string at our show
No nibbles were eatenas the string ball was beaten.Just some fun tanglingas his tail was wagling.lol....
The meaning of life in just six words :-)
All the necessities! lol....
These are all great pics! Especially like the kitties. Our bird bath looks just like that with the blue insulators. Love them ❤️
They really do make it look special, don't they? I've enjoyed mine a lot!
Lovely thoughts and photos. I guess no birdies will bathe with that tongue a-lappin'. And doesn't Mr. Cardinal look like he is ready for his close-up. Flirty thing!
Birdies flee when there's a kitty! haha. The babies have gone off to feed themselves so Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal are happily resting and snacking...it's like they're on vacation! haha.
That is a great routine :)
I thought so...wish every day was so lovely and simple! ha.
Love these photos! This post makes me feel god.PS - Any sign of gray?
No Grey. :(
I know! aw.
You are such a master with that camera. Love all the pictures today. Looks like the bird feeder is half empty...wasn't it full last picture?? Somebody has been hungry. Your bread looks wonderful, and you cats are always a pleasure to see. I would love to get a new camera, (my little Cannon Power Shot is held together with tape. ) but I think I will opt for a lap top since my desk top crashed. If I get one in Oregon...no tax... :)
yes...half full..haha...and I'm pretty sure it was all birds and no raccoon. :) I'd choose a new laptop over a camera, too! You're going to have such a fun trip!
~*~*~*~*~*~ Nice ~*~*~*~*~*~
Thanks, dear. :)
Those are really great photos! I think the value of a really good camera shows up in these shots. Hope your arthritis isn't going to be a constant pain for you.
Thanks, Yuji....I am really enjoying it now that it feels comfortable and not foreign and new.
Your this and that's are delightful Betsy, all smile bringers.
Thanks so much Denise. ..I think these are my favorite posts to do. :)
My cats like to drink out of the bird bath, too :)No Grey today?
They come running when I fill it up. ..silly things. ha.No Grey. So sad.
All wonderful pics but I especially love that first one. Only cats can be goofy and delicate at the same time.
I love the first one, too...everything about it. ...color, light, subject. ..might have to go in my 2015 calendar. :)
All great, but bake gets my top pick. Yum.
That was the best pumpkin bread! Yum.
Hubby called and he's bring pumpkins home tonight. Cannot wait. So excited.Have Spooktacular Day & Happy Halloween!
Oh, wonderful! Your house is going to smell heavenly!
I thought I would give making homemade pumpkin puree a go this year.
I've done that and it works great...freezes well, too!
Love every single one! blessings ~ tanna
Thanks Tanna...they all made me smile, too!
You should really do a commercial cat calendar Betsy. Especially love the birdbath big drink one. Trying to help a good friend and neighbor process the diagnosis of terminal cancer for one of her cats. I'm hoping she will have the courage to do what's best for Oscar and not let him linger too long in a hopeless situation. I went to the vet's office with her the other day, and they have a beautiful feline office manager named Sassy, who also serves as greeter.Lynne in NC
I did sell a cat calendar in my shop last year and it did very well! I want to do a bird one this year, but have quite a few good cat photos, too, so I just might branch out and do two kinds. Shadow in the birdbath was my favorite, too!So sorry about your friend's kitty. I hope she does have the courage to let him go. Prolonging the inevitable is actually more painful...believe me, I know, from one of my first cats. I had a vet that played on my emotions and got me to try all kinds of treatments that cost a ton of money and Teddy died anyway...on my birthday of all things. If the vet had just said "It's time to let him go" weeks before, I would have done it! Lesson learned...but always so hard.Sassy sounds like a cutie...love that name. I bet she's a great greeter!
Super set of photos ~ like the first one especially . . . Great shot of the cardinal and as Keith said he has more than half emptied the feeder ~ no wonder he is puffed out . . .That baking looks delicious . . Sleep . . . that's an idea after a day with baby Peter , , , ,he is very lively . . . Shine ~ beautiful shot . . lol . . .Slate getting all tangled up . . . . . . :)
Sounds like you're already ready to hit the sack! And you get to do it all again tomorrow! haha.
Yes . . . Peter certainly keeps his grandpa on his toes . . . no peace for the wicked . . . . lol
Great shots, especially the first one!
I'm serving coffee! Stay and chat! And no awards, please! Your comments are my awards!
