Awww...he found the perfect spot for a cat nap. I love the potpourri dish with the birds on it.
He loves to sleep up there when he's inside. He's usually outside under a shrub! haha.
The second photograph...a stunner!
Nothing like the sound of a shutter snap to wake you up! ha.
Peep-Ho! . . . great shots . . . :)
haha...that's another word we don't say! ;)
haha . . . . It's Peek-a-Boo isn't it . . . or something like that . . . :)
Yes, that's it. A hoe is a garden tool...among other things. lol...
That's a lovely lamp stand, is it a Tiffany Studios one? What it really needs is an Art Nouveau stained glass shade to make it complete. . . . just saying.
Make me one! :)
What cat? Oh,THAT cat. Sorry, I didn't notice him hiding behind that wonderful lamp base.
Jack's jealous now.
olp! you woke them up....smiles.my cat has been sleeping under my feet all day....every time i turn around...
Have to watch where you step sometimes, don't you? ha.
Cats can sleep anywhere! I love your little bowl with the birds on it!
They really can! Some of mine like to sleep up on top of things and others like to go under furniture.I've had that little bowl forever. It's actually a bird feeder but there isn't a drain hole and it just fills with rain water so inside it came and got a coat of paint.
Wish that was me.....Cheers!Linda :o)
You, laying on my mantel behind the lamp? I would certainly grab my camera! lol!!!!
lol . . . . .Quick Betsy, take a snap . . . . . lol
It amazes me the places cat choose to take a nap! Jack is adorable - wonderful picture, Betsy.
They do amuse me and sometimes I'm walking through the house and notice one in a new spot! Sometimes they startle me being inside something! haha.
He looks sneaky! lol
he's a little brat, really. haha.
I love Jack Betsy is really sweet!!My mom loved these little birds beside the lamp!
That little bowl is really a bird feeder!
Beautiful my mom like it lol
Your mom is so sweet. :)
lol disturbing the poor guyMaybe he'll jump on you tonight and give payback a try haha
That he would dohere at my zooCan't be a normal catand sleep at the foot of the bed, nice and flat.He has to burrow under the sheetsputting his wet nose upon my kneesMaking me say, Oh, Jack, Geesh! That cat!...stop it, please!
lmao not normal is fun thoughExcept when they pull armpit hair at ones show
lol!! I'll leave that up to yousince I have none to view!
He makes a nice "Table scape"Perfect color scheme too.
He does add a little life to the arrangement, doesn't he! :)
These two shots are perfect! The teenager has passed out. Jack doesn't get as much blog time as he used to. I miss the little guy so I am glad to see him again. I will never forget the refrigerator photo - ha! What a pretty lamp and bowl. Sweet birdies perched on it. And in the first shot, Jack's paw looks exactly like another little bird peeping in, doesn't it? Or perhaps it's just my crazy mind. :-)
Yes, Jack seems to be overshadowed by the new kitty lately. The fridge shot will always be a classic...and he won a contest with it, smart kitty! haha. And yes, I do agree about the paw! Looks just like another little bird!
Oops - thought my comment was separate... didn't mean to hijack Wanda's! Yes - I remember him winning that contest and well-deserved.
And the moon is glorious tonight. Did you catch it? I was sitting in a friend's backyard this afternoon and evening, and the moon was low on the horizon and almost like having your own table lamp! So bright and full.
We had rain and cloudy skies! I was so disappointed! They were calling it a super moon...low, big and bright! Lucky you!
It was quite amazing... so low and full. There are a ton of photos on the internet of it. And we had heard nothing about it previously so we were just sitting in her garden when all of a sudden I looked to my right and it was there in the sky... like a big pizza pie! Ha! Was stunning.
Well that has to win a prize for the most unusual cat nap spot! xx
Oh, I don't know....we've had more unusual here...sometimes they are inside something and startle me! haha.
Would so love to tickle that precious tummy! Love how you let the furry creatures have access to everywhere in your house. They are treated like true members of the family. How cute that he's communing with the birdies. :-) Lynne in NC
He would love to be tickled on that tummy! ha.
Hi Betsy - Jack looked delightfully comfortable til the click! Still he looks amazingly content .. and wonderful photos yet again .. cheers Hilary
haha...yes, they have such sensitive ears! It's very hard to sneak up on them! :)
I bet you're used to finding cat naps in the most unexpected places! Oh, that look he's giving you . . . looks like my fourteen year old son when I tell him to get off the computer!
Yes, he is giving the "how dare you!" look! haha.
I'm serving coffee! Stay and chat! And no awards, please! Your comments are my awards!
