That's a lovely lamp stand, is it a Tiffany Studios one? What it really needs is an Art Nouveau stained glass shade to make it complete. . . . just saying.
They really can! Some of mine like to sleep up on top of things and others like to go under furniture. I've had that little bowl forever. It's actually a bird feeder but there isn't a drain hole and it just fills with rain water so inside it came and got a coat of paint.
That he would do here at my zoo Can't be a normal cat and sleep at the foot of the bed, nice and flat. He has to burrow under the sheets putting his wet nose upon my knees Making me say, Oh, Jack, Geesh! That cat!...stop it, please!
These two shots are perfect! The teenager has passed out. Jack doesn't get as much blog time as he used to. I miss the little guy so I am glad to see him again. I will never forget the refrigerator photo - ha! What a pretty lamp and bowl. Sweet birdies perched on it. And in the first shot, Jack's paw looks exactly like another little bird peeping in, doesn't it? Or perhaps it's just my crazy mind. :-)
Yes, Jack seems to be overshadowed by the new kitty lately. The fridge shot will always be a classic...and he won a contest with it, smart kitty! haha. And yes, I do agree about the paw! Looks just like another little bird!
And the moon is glorious tonight. Did you catch it? I was sitting in a friend's backyard this afternoon and evening, and the moon was low on the horizon and almost like having your own table lamp! So bright and full.
It was quite amazing... so low and full. There are a ton of photos on the internet of it. And we had heard nothing about it previously so we were just sitting in her garden when all of a sudden I looked to my right and it was there in the sky... like a big pizza pie! Ha! Was stunning.
Would so love to tickle that precious tummy! Love how you let the furry creatures have access to everywhere in your house. They are treated like true members of the family. How cute that he's communing with the birdies. :-) Lynne in NC
I bet you're used to finding cat naps in the most unexpected places! Oh, that look he's giving you . . . looks like my fourteen year old son when I tell him to get off the computer!
Awww...he found the perfect spot for a cat nap. I love the potpourri dish with the birds on it.
