Cats are so fun to watch, aren't they?
Why yes, they are! :)
Oh, I'm glad I didn't miss Samantha's Day. She is really pretty, those EYES!
She's a pretty girl, isn't she? Her eyes aren't as round as some of the others...kind of almond shaped and so green!
Your captions always crack me up Betsy. Love the "I smell bird." I now have a pet of sorts. A small dark greened frog showed up in and on my fountain a few days ago. His breast stroke is hysterical. He stays so motionless out of the water that he looks like a statue. I guess he's faking out the insects. Lynne in NC
I was cracking myself up making this post! haha.A pet frog in your fountain! I'm jealous! I'd love to see him swimming...how sweet!
What a great set of photo of Sam and loved the way you worked in the speech bubbles.I remember hearing that song as a kid, yonks ago, was it a Burl Ives song I wonder? And the innocent way he answered your question at the end . . . . . lol . . . :)
My boys loved that song...in fact, if I sang it now they would probably love it. haha.
Sing it to me . . . . . :) . . . . lolBet you sing it real nice.
You want me to sing to you and that's the song you choose? lol....
Oh yes I think I could select another I might prefer.Er can I choose anything? . . . . lol
You can choose whatever you want!Doesn't mean I'll agree to sing it, though! ha.
What about a nice Whitney Houston song. Could you manage the high notes in, "I will always love you" ?
she - another typo
Too cute. I love the story you wove around her day.
When I looked at the photos, I just had to make a story! ha.
What a gorgeous face♥️Raining there?Cheers!Linda :o)
It wants to! We're supposed to get thunderstorms later this afternoon. This morning it was dark enough to be night time!
ha. if only the jedi mind tricks worked on the birds....smiles.come to me...fun stuff...our cat is turning snuggly again after a season of wanting his independence...
We have snuggly ones and independent ones. The snuggly ones can practically smother you demanding attention and the others I'm working on. haha.Sam didn't get a bird, but boy her brother Shadow sure gets them!
Adorable and I smiled all the way through this delightful post, thanks Betsy.
Thanks, Denise.....Sam made it very easy to do!
She must be exhausted! Love this strip of photos and captions - too cute! Except for some white bits - which you can't really see until she rolls over - she blends so well with the tree. Cat camouflage. Isn't Samantha also the one who washes everyone else? She's a dear.
She does have quite a bit of taupe color mixed in with her grey. Yes, she's the sweet sister that runs to greet anyone that comes in the house and washes their face! So cute.
Yes - I wondered about that. I am noticing in the tree shots she looks grey but in the inside shots at the end you see more of the taupe which blends her again to the background. She is a chameleon! I have been reading this strip over and over - love it!
She does blend perfectly with that tree!
Your captions fit her expressions perfectly! Great photos, Betsy.
Thanks, Mildred. :)
Betsy, you crack me up sometimes! Priceless.
Glad to put a smile on your face...that was the whole idea! :)
Too funny- that last shot..those eyes! I imagine we would be shocked if we knew what goes on in a cat's mind.
I'd love to know what they are really thinking!
haha birdie come to play?Didn't show that part at your bay?No gift was brought?Funny as the last she looks like "oh, I got caught?"
If she caught something I didn't see.No gift was brought to me!
Conversation I heard once between one of my neighbours and her little girl. "Mummy, I want a likkle kitten" Mum: "I don't know where to get one dear, they don't grow on trees you know" Kid: "Yes the do, I saw one in a tree on the telly, and some firemen were picking it!" True!Did Sam grow in the tree?
haha....and here I thought they came from cattails!
She is lovely Betsy.. and really funny:)I love my dogs but always find funny look the cats:))
They do have a lot of personality!
Yes they are something special:)
I LOVE IT!!!
So much fun to put together!
Oh I love the "comic cat" strip. Those were purrrrfect captions.
I almost deleted most of those and then thought they might tell a cute story. :)
Just one...take a closer look! ha.
The world would be a sadder place without cats.:0)
She's a beauty!
Isn't she? She has the tiniest little voice and is so sweet. :)
Congrats on the POTW award! Love your cat-antics. How do you put those balloons on your pics? I only do captions (you can check out my blog if you like). Now I'm curious and need to figure out how to make those cartoon balloons. What fun!!
Hi Wendy! I use picmonkey. Free and easy...try it!
I love how you put words in a cat's mouth. I bet you're pretty close to the truth here. :) Also, I hope your kitty can get herself out of the tree without help.
Hi Kerry! Yes, so far all the cats have been good tree climbers...up and down!
I'm serving coffee! Stay and chat! And no awards, please! Your comments are my awards!
