  1. He's such a pretty cat! I may be a little biased though - he looks just like our Oliver!

    1. Oh, I am partial to the smokey grey ones, too! My first cat was a grey striped one like this. I love his bandana. ha.

    1. He's saying, "I'm sitting in the kitchen
      and my tummy is itchin'.
      A treat would be nice.
I should haven't to ask twice!
      If I look real sweet,
would you give me a treat?"

Think they're starving at my bay.

    3. I celebrated a day early with a girlfriend and we went shopping, had dinner out and went back to her place where we heard and saw a few local fireworks. Yesterday I took it a bit easy (wickedly hot here), but went to our rooftop patio to watch the “big” ones. Unfortunately with all the recent condo building the view has been somewhat obscured. And what used to be a packed patio only had two people on it! But they left and I waited by myself and saw two separate displays – one north and one south – and although they were much lower in the sky, they were fun to see. I got my own private showing!

    4. Well, how fun is that! We used to be able to see fireworks from our yard long ago before the trees all got to tall! But that is for Labor Day. We have to go to neighboring towns to see fireworks on July 4th. The Father of Labor Day was born here in our little village, so we celebrate that. We're too little to afford to times, I guess! haha.

  9. Now that is a lovely face. In regards to a question you asked about two of my charges...they are not siblings, Betsy but love each other nonetheless. Wishing you all a Happy Canada Day.

  10. Betsy,
Yet another takes your breath away kitty photo portrait. Have you ever thought of being a pet photographer part-time? Her face is so expressive. Love the little "life stripes" on the tips of her ears. Lynne in NC
