  5. Oh my what a delightful weekend. Love that butterfly in orange crush. This morning I had a yellow butterfly by the balcony and didn't have my camera. I must remember to take it with me when I sit in the balcony in the early morning for my devotions. You brunch is making me drool as that would be my all time favorite brunch. And all the Zoo pictures are so cute, and the Mister too. It's warm this afternoon...I'll take one of those smoothies. We are relaxing after a month of rush, rush, rush.

When he wasn't eating at your zoo
    About time I'd say

Passed his life expectancy and how!
      Sleeps most of the day
behind the couch at my bay.

    2. At least he's still alive and kicking
Even when the cats are picking

That brunch looks divine and the subsequent sandwich . . . . yummie!

    5. Oh! hark at her!! . . . . whose the clever one?
Hey - they are good though - a lot of detail.
Did you use a long exposure and a wide aperture? You held it very still. Have you got a tripod?

      Delete
    6. No, just a zoom and held it still. I don't have a tripod. Have to hold my breath, though. haha. Oh, and I rode a moon beam for a closer look. lol....

    9. Not so sure . . . if your pictures get much sharper you might just see a little green hand waving to you by the side of a crater !! . . . lol . . . on vacation from Mars of course! :)

  8. Hee hee! Very cute poem there. :)
And oh. my. your brunch looks divine! Do you fry the tomatoes with cheese or something? Yummy!
And really, what makes your animals so photogenic? Whenever mine see the camera they usually stop whatever cute pose they were occupied in and just come at me in a charge, OR run for the hills! Do you make a bargain with them that if they come to stay, along with the shots and snipping and such, they MUST be obedient to the camera? ;)

    1. oh those tomatoes are SO good...thick slices on a cookie sheet...drizzle with olive oil, salt, pepper, italian seasoning, onion and garlic powder and top with shredded cheese. I put them under the broiler until the cheese was brown and bubbling. I'm addicted!

I set my camera on a fast shutter speed to take photos of the cats. You capture more good shots that way. And believe me, I delete more bad than good photos. lol....but still, it's easier to take pets than my boys! They actually cringe and close their eyes! That's why you don't see them very often. :)

    1. These cats are just so affectionate! It really is sweet. When one comes inside and meows, the others come running to welcome him inside. It's extraordinary! And I never tire of seeing their tails wind together! haha...so funny!

And Tiger, the dear, guards the Mister so near.
Cat kisses, a tired bunny, that sammie looks nummy.

  12. How blessed you are to be surrounded by so many four-footed creatures! It looks like a heaven/haven on earth. I would never get anything done if I lived there; they would be so wonderfully distracting. Lynne in NC
