Ha! Well I guess that's why! Laughing. I just assumed if the window was open Marmalade would be through it in seconds. Too funny. But yes, I notice all the time that there are no streaks. Have to keep it photo-ready!
In contrast, and by coincidence, I had the paper towels and Windex out right now...was just going to clean Alex's face and hand prints off the back door. lol....it's been there a week and every morning the sun shines, illuminating it. When the sun moves, I don't notice it. And every morning, while I'm getting the boys ready, I say to myself how I MUST clean that door! Today is the day. ha.
I use microfibre cloths now too - totally amazing. Also, I was just noticing how beautifully the squirrel's colouring melds into the branch colours. I love Mother Nature!
I like your house; cats, squirrels, birds, and boys. My daughter would sell you some very nice microfiber cloths so that you never again have to buy paper towels to clean your windows. :0)
ha! I'll think of that now every time I look at him. Marmy's Wellies! I know you're concerned about my lamp, Keith, but really, my house is full of fragile things and I haven't had a cat break something yet. Well, I take that back. Jack broke a drinking glass once. ha. But nothing of value. There's usually a couple of cats sleeping by that lamp, too.. Maybe they are guarding it for me. :)
Loved the two perspectives: inside looking out and outside looking in. He really looks like marmalade doesn't he? And great shots too Are you using your new camera exclusively now? :)
It's quite a feminine name, though isn't it? haha. Don't tell him. He doesn't know. I named him before I knew what sex he was and didn't even know he would be staying! Yes, I always use the new camera now, except for photographing the moon. The old one does better!
Betsy today I can see Marmalade white boots!! lovely, yesterday I was only with my phone:) But Ditto begin his winter holidays so I can use the Notebook:) I love how he look outside!
nice dinner : grilled chicken sandwhich, Im making roasted chicken (or the rest of him yester I use some part and today the other) And have to think something to Espe:)
He acted more curious than scared, actually. We haven't seen a squirrel here in quite a while! I think news travels that it's a dangerous spot for critters. ha.
Definitely a stare down. Love your capture. I'm here from Hilary's POTW. I also have read many of your comments from Wanda. Love the way you look at life.
Everyone is all eyes!

ReplyDeletelol....the window is open! Although...I clean that one all the time since it's the one I take photos through.

DeleteIt's good to know they work so well!
DeleteYep, that squirrel is perfectly camouflaged, isn't he?
That's pretty funny- were they checking each other out?
ReplyDeleteAnd which pretty fur-baby is that? I'm not sure if I've seen him/her!
That is Marmalade. He's one of the first litter a stray mama had in our yard 3 years ago.
DeleteHe is such a cutie!
DeleteHe's the only ginger! ha.

DeleteAdorable photography ~ love the kitty in the window ~ Happy Week ~ thanks, ^_^
ReplyDeleteartmusedog and carol (A Creative Harbor)
Thank you, Carol! It seems there is always a kitty or two looking out that window! :)
DeleteCats and oil lamps don't mix. Well, they do sometimes, but one of them gets knocked onto the floor and smashed ! Just saying. . . . .
ReplyDeleteIf Ginger Cat and Cyril Squirrel swapped places, methinks the fur and hair would fly in your kitchen ! And an oil lamp would possibly get get broken.
I love Marmalade's white wellington boots.
DeleteHa! He does look like he is wearing wellies!
