Looking Sideways

Socks sat on my laptop keyboard and this is what happened!
After a Google search where I found similar pleas for help,
even one that said "My cat changed my settings!" and another
saying, "Help! My daughter changed my computer from vertical to
horizontal!" haha.  If this happens to you, just click
Control + alt + and the up arrow.

Ah, much better!

TV is a good distraction when you're sick..for kids and adults.

    2. Really?
So how did you get to solve the problem? Did you use your phone or another computer?

    3. I rebooted so my keyboard worked again and then I held it sideways so I could read it and did the google search. I guess it took about 10 minutes.

    1. I've had some funny things happen but this was a first! I laughed when I saw other people had looked for the same issue...even that a cat did it.

  9. I just tried this trick on my Chromebook. ctl + alt + down arrow = nothing. The same with ctl + alt + up arrow = nothing, so I had better keep Dinky off the keyboard in case he messes up and I can't put it right !

    1. I think it's a Windows trick. You don't have Windows, right?

      Delete
    2. No, I use Linux Ubuntu, cos it never goes wrong. No crashes. No hang-ups. No need for anti-virus. ALL programs and apps free.

    3. You're so clever. :) I've never had problems with Windows, though...so far, anyway.

  10. Clever od Socks knowing how to play that trick on you.

  13. Maybe you could have set it on your bed, laid down on a pillow, and worked that way, probably surrounded by cats.
    Okay, so maybe not...
Glad you got it fixed otherwise you'd have gotten a kink in your neck.

    1. I did reboot, hoping that would fix everything but it didn't! lol....

Just a couple of slices of grapefruit in the water. Actually, I eat the grapefruit and put some of the skin in a pitcher of water. Very refreshing!
