Oh My! Does Slate know another Kitty has usurped his role as centerpiece? I must admit this one looks ever so sweet, too, but my first loyalty still goes to precious Slate. Lynne in NC
This one is very sweet...my little Grey Girl. She's really shy and disappears for days at a time. Then she returns dead tired and starving...silly girl! ha.
Yes this is my favorite light to take picture but not always I can.and in thid time in the morning is really cloudy! But in spring uou have the best light I think:)
Lucky Slate to be adopted by you - wish I were a cat!!! . . . there again if I was you might force me to be spayed, ouch. lol Seriously, he seems so settled, when you first had him he seemed very nervous.. You know I really believe he is your favourate cat.
Correct! - It is a trick question in case anyone else is watching! Gloria you will have to translate this into Spanish LOL. As you know the only person going to St Ives is ME and the others are walking away from it! :)
Love the sunlight in the photo. Grey looks like a sweetheart. We have a spayed female who likes to disappear too, especially if we have company (or kids).
Do you remember Christian from Mod Girl blog? She taught me a great appreciation for daylight...how it changes through out the day and how it makes a photo more beautiful.

DeleteOh, and Slate seems to be quite smitten with her! lol...
DeleteThey do make a handsome couple. Strange that she does the disappearing act. It's usually males who do that. Lynne
DeleteShe's my only girl that does it! She seems so happy when she's here..makes me wonder why she leaves in the first place! ha.
DeleteShe looks to be resting as comfortable as can be
ReplyDeleteKeeping her ears perked up in case she has to flee
Always watching out
Deletein case danger is about!
Lovely picture.
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you, Keith! :)
DeleteNice shot. Very nice. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. ..I thought so! :)
DeleteShe look so sweet Betsy. Is a beauty shot:)
ReplyDeleteI just love the light...so soft and pretty!
DeleteYes this is my favorite light to take picture but not always I can.and in thid time in the morning is really cloudy!

Afternoon in my kitchen is good for photos. But cloudy days are awful. Ha.
DeleteYes here the morning is beautiful in light outside and inside but cloudy day is awful!
DeleteShe looks very pretty in the morning light - and with that lovely green behind her in the window!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't she? I love the way the light comes in that window in the morning!

Great photo! ;)
Yes, all that is true...but this isn't Slate! It's Grey! haha. Remember the girl with the eye liner? This is her.
DeleteOh! Please apologise to Grey for me!! haha . . . Getting my cats mixed up :)
DeleteWell, that's kind of easy to do here. Lol....
DeleteMust be very difficult sometimes for you not to get your 15 cats mixed up.
DeleteReminds me of a riddle based on a place here called St Ives. It goes somthing like this:
"As I was walking to St Ives
I met a man with 7 wives,
Each wife had 7 sacks
Each sack had 7 cats.
Man, wives, sacks, cats . . . . . how many were going to St Ives?
Now THAT will give yer something to think about LOL
I know that rhyme from my childhood! :)
DeleteOh, and the answer is one...You! :)
DeleteCorrect! - It is a trick question in case anyone else is watching! Gloria you will have to translate this into Spanish LOL.
DeleteAs you know the only person going to St Ives is ME and the others are walking away from it! :)
Oh! and the prize for getting the correct answer is a dance with me at my ballroom! :)
DeleteYou crack me up. The prize seems to always be YOU! :)
DeleteLOL - I know!! :)
DeleteGrey looks so content. Lovely sun bath. I am laughing at Spencer and the socks - I can just see it now!!
ReplyDeleteSpencer was SO funny. I almost did a whole post on it! lol...

She is so shy! And a little scared of a few of the other cats. She really prefers her litter mates.
DeleteIn my next life I definitely want to be a cat.
ReplyDeleteIt would be a nice life, wouldn't it? All those naps in patches of light...
DeleteA cute kitty..loved the touch of pink on her nose..
ReplyDeleteI love the pink noses, too! Most of ours have black noses. Two orange ones.
DeleteSunlight gives a darling picture a perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteDo you remember Christian from Mod Girl blog? She taught me a great appreciation for daylight...how it changes through out the day and how it makes a photo more beautiful.
DeleteShe is picture purr-fect. :)
ReplyDeleteI love this one!
ReplyDeleteNow that is one very content kitty ... just beautiful :-)
