Too funny. We've had plenty of birds, especially barn swallows, dive bomb our cats. I've seen my cats bird watching too. And, I've been totally grossed out by them crunching down a small morsel.
Uh oh - Miss Gloria beat me to it! Beautiful photos, Betsy. Love the light on both. Maybe the cat should be below looking up at the unsuspecting bird! Hee hee. Guess what???? I have my bunny teapot! I LOVE her. I think it's a her... but it might be a very dapper him. :-D And the other two pieces are wonderful as well - I will write you. Thank you! xo
I think I must admit defeat tonight!! LOL But wait a mo! I must put on my lens cap because I need to stop down because my weary eyes are beginning to see things with a Wide Angle.
Your supposed to be getting on with your work and I am supposed to be mowering (funny we just say mowing, but you guys like words bigger and better!) the lawn. Must "project(or)" myself to getting on with the lawn! . . . . . . but keep coming back to see if you have managed to "pixel" something different! . . . . . and there is always something else in "print" from you ROFL
It's raining!! lol . . . . . . rained off in garden! Tyoical Brit weather! So you don't say hoovering or mowering (lol). I see! I expect it's vacuuming. Missed the "focal point" about mowering! lol
Great shot! I was just taking pictures out the back...when my battery died...and my back up was dead as well.... :o( Had a Cardinal,Robin and 2 Starlings all sunbathing in my maple tree....hope what I got was good! Enjoy your evening...we had meatloaf last night :o) Cheers! Linda :o)
hmm...that's interesting. I even tried to find online if that was possible and only got people complaining that dslr's couldn't charge from your laptop. They just have a battery. I'll look again, because it would be soooo convenient! haha. Thanks....
Betsy, your photography is getting to be fantastic, I always thought you took good photos, but these two are great. Are you using some of the mad skills you are learning in the photography class? Just to get in on the previous discussion, I love your new header, too! It is just so endearing.
Well, thank you. It's coming along...very slowly. It certainly doesn't come naturally to me and I just need to take some time go play and take pictures and learn what I'm doing. haha.
That phrase "Laugh out loud" must be one of the most overused words in the English language, and so often it is an exaggeration. But here I was sat at my computer, with the fog and cold outside, feeling a bit fed up as I have to drive half way across the country later today (not as challenging prospect in the UK as in the USA) and I genuinely did laugh out lout at seeing your photos.

DeleteDid you have a film across your eyes?
DeleteYes, my aperture was set wrong and my battery was drained!
DeleteGosh!!
DeleteAh yes!
I expect it all came in a flash|!

DeleteHope you did not get Red Eye

DeleteI think I must admit defeat tonight!! LOL

What a way to switch lenses for a positive view!
DeleteIt's raining here! Lots to do today...birthday to celebrate tonight!
Enjoy the mowering. lol....
The days of "negatives" died out with the demise of 35mm film - I think!! ROFL
DeleteAnd my sense of humor is developing through this whole process!
DeleteYour supposed to be getting on with your work and I am supposed to be mowering (funny we just say mowing, but you guys like words bigger and better!) the lawn.
DeleteMust "project(or)" myself to getting on with the lawn! . . . . . . but keep coming back to see if you have managed to "pixel" something different! . . . . . and there is always something else in "print" from you ROFL

Deletehaha. OK...off to work! later.....must focus! haha.
It's raining!! lol . . . . . . rained off in garden! Tyoical Brit weather!
DeleteSo you don't say hoovering or mowering (lol). I see! I expect it's vacuuming. Missed the "focal point" about mowering! lol
Rain? Better use your lens hood!
DeleteI'll make a tent and wrap some film around my tripod, like a wigwam! . . . . then try to "snap" out of it!
DeleteGreat shot!
ReplyDeleteI was just taking pictures out the back...when my battery died...and my back up was dead as well.... :o(

My old camera could charge on my laptop and I never had to worry about my battery! My new camera doesn't! What a pain! So I feel your pain! haha.
DeleteA friend of mine had that problem too, but he was able to get a cable cord that solved the issue. Maybe you can for yours too?
Deletehmm...that's interesting. I even tried to find online if that was possible and only got people complaining that dslr's couldn't charge from your laptop. They just have a battery. I'll look again, because it would be soooo convenient! haha. Thanks....
