Thank you! At least one thing looks springy around here! ;) I believe Gloria scared him away! She got on him one night and he never returned. I thought he might have gone to visit you! haha.
ROFL It was you Gloria! You are so frightening!! LOL You told him Betsy was like a sister to you and shouted "extraviarse" You would never say that to me would you? lol LOL
I wouldn't worry about it, Gloria. No need to apologise I am sure and Betsy's heart is certainly not broken! lol And I am joking a bit as well. You didn't say "extraviarse" but he might have thought you did. Betsy will explain but she is probably doing the washing up right now. I sent you an email today.
oh they are pretty and make a great addition to the wreat...tara would love this...she would like a spring wreath...we have a fall and winter one....hmmm....now i know where to find one...
Very pretty! I though we would make a lemon meringue pie and a chocolate pie for James' birthday but we ended up with two chocolates instead. Now I've got a craving for lemon.
It is a beautiful wreath Betsy, you chose such lovely colours, and I like the addition of the pussy willow too. Glad that you got to do something on your spring list!! Hope that you have a good week. xx
Hi Betsy - that's just beautiful .. and I love Pussy Willow too - I used to buy sprigs for my mother, so she could feel the buds and we could watch the leaves come out ... quite delightful .. cheers Hilary
I'm not quite sure what it is about pussy willows. Maybe it's because I remember them as a child. And they are so unique. I've said for years I wanted one growing in my yard. I really need to get one! I should have put that on my fun spring to do list!
Something about pussy willows... I used to rub their furry little bodies too! And cat-tails as well. So soft. Do you know the Gordon Lightfoot song "Pussywillows, Cat-tails?" If not... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=towEg9j5K4k
Here the same. We had snow over the weekend and storms. Didn't stick but the nasty thunder and winds sure stuck around. But for where I live, this is our spring.
