Beautiful moon and great photo!
I finally saw the moon! Everyone has been talking about it for days! ha.
Beautiful and peaceful, and very well photographed! xx
It was with my old camera. My new camera is making me feel very....dumb. haha.
I feel pretty dumb right now, spent hours trying to fiddle with my blog today - it has taken me ages just to rearrange the order of things in my sidebar. You will get the hang of it I'm sure, but it is hard getting to grips with new tech isn't it! xx
Do you know anything about DSLR cameras? Maybe we could trade brains for an hour. I'll do your sidebar and you do my camera. haha
Sorry, no. I use my tiny pocket automatic. That is hard enough for me!! The sidebar will have to be for now! I did finally manage to change my header though! Good luck with it, I am sure that you will figure it out, it takes time! xx
I like it...very minimal and clean!
Unlike my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!! xx
Moon river wider, than a mileI'm crossing you in stylesome day Oh dream, makeryou, heart breaker Wherever you're goin' I'm, goin' your way!Vince xo
Oh...stuck in my head, now! ha. That song reminds me of my childhood.
my what a big moon you have...that second shot is so clear...you can see all the textures...
Isn't that cool? I love it when they come out crisp and clear like that. Swiss cheese. ha.
What a great shotAs the moon is caughtInviting morning to youUntil the sun is in view
The man in the moonsinging a tune.Couldn't sleep.Should have counted sheep!
Made of cheeseif you please. The cow jumped overfollowed by rover.
If made of cheeseI will get a trapezeAnd swing close to meet itAnd greedily eat itFor I really love cheeseThe more it will me pleaseThere must be a mouseIn our satellite's houseFor there are lots of holesWhich are not made by moles.I'll avoid the cowBut I don't know how.But just what is that RoverNot heard of him jumping over
Swiss cheese made the holes! Not mice or any moles.Rover came from another rhymeto chase the cat with fiddle so fine. What can I say?The poet is tired. Her humor is here but her brain is mired.hahaha.....
hahahaha!I'm brain dead! lolSo goodnight!
Wow look at you goCheese and a rover at your showAdd a spoon and some candle stickThen all can have their pickA cheese stick Could do the trickJust pull it backAnd watch the cow attackFlying over the moonWith rover following like a loon
Fantastic!I got the same shot in February while in Florida....Such a beautiful thing the moon is...perhaps we should go there! Hahaha!I am going to have a peek in the morning....what direction? East?Cheers!Linda :o)
It was west! The sun was rising in the east.Yes, it was beautiful! Wasn't even looking for it ...so bright even at daylight!
Thanks...I will look for it.....
I won't see it here...supposed to be raining in the morning!
"Good Morning, Moon":0)
That's exactly what I said! :)
I see the moon. the moon sees me...
God bless the moonand God bless me!
Is a lovely moon betsy!
Isn't it? It was so bright!
Your second shot is so moving, Betsy, and inspired me to write this little piece:Like a soft and candescent sphere of marble,Gently suspended as if on nothingYou faithfully return when our sun glides over our horizonAnd then you accompany the stars in a symphony of lightDirecting your moonbeams on all nocturnal creationUntil a new day dawns and you retire once more. Your appearance, although in many shapes and forms, always, when permitted, glows against our darkened sky. Yet your face is always looking our wayAs if you are watching and caring for us.But tonight we see you in your most glorious formYou look majestic. What secrets have you?
That is just wonderful! You highlighted all the things I love about the moon....it almost seems alive, able to see us, and cares for us. Aw.
Wrote it in jail LOL
HA!! Oh, you surprised me there. LOL! Well, I'm glad you have a room with a view!
Amazing pictures, Betsy.Hope you have a nice evening.
Did you bring me that scone? ha.
Just beautiful, Betsy!
Isn't it? But the crescent is still my favorite! ha.
That second shot shows amazing clarity, not bad for being from your old camera!
Thanks. Is this my silver fox? Not as much detail as a nighttime moon, but not too bad, I guess.
yes he is.
OK. Thanks, gloria. :)
Yes, it's your Silver Fox! Gloria is right once again!
I've never see a moon like that here. Maybe it's the "smog" or "haze". But your shots are beautiful.
It might be. I've noticed the photos come out clearer if we don't have any humidity..or it's so cold it's ice instead of in the air. ha.
Maybe it's just me but I always see the shape of a dinosaur with it's mouth open made out of craters. Am I crazy?
Maybe! haha...but crazy is good! :)
I was just taking pics of that moon this morning too! :)
great minds, debra! Thanks for stopping by!
As a youngster, I was always fascinated when the moon showed up during the day.(Looks like your new camera and classes are really fun!)
I remember being fascinated,, too...thinking, Hey, how did that happen? ha.
Hi Betsy - stunning moon shots .. I love the moon ... it has a majesty of its own ... cheers Hilary
majestly...why, yes, that is true!
My favourite subject!
Hi Suza - isn't Betsy's moon fabulous?
Big beautiful moon brings a big ole smile!! Thank you. blessings ~ tanna
Doesn't it? :)
Hey, I remembered! It was your auction today wasn't it? Hope it was not too muddy!
Horribly muddy. haha. I've never seen anything like it. Worst auction I've ever worked. We were outside. Freezing cold rain blowing sideways with 30 mph winds! 6" deep mud all over...people got their shoes stuck in it...several fell into the mud....miserably cold and wet. We didn't loose our sense of humor, though. But I'm glad the day is done. The Jeep really did look like I'd been 4 wheeling in the jungle!
So you didn't look all 'glammed up' in all that quagmire!!! Was your not so secret admirer there or was he a bit of a stick in the mud LOL?Fancy falling over into that mess - reminds me of my old rugby days - great fun.Well guess you've got a job on cleaning up the jeep and your wellies.
I did not spend a lot of time fussing with my hair, no. haha. My no so secret admirer was not there. He only comes if there is silver to buy. This was tractors, scrap metal and car parts. The Mister washed my jeep for me tonight. He does hate a dirty car! haha. The wellies are still in the garage...will have to clean those up myself, I suppose! ha.
I'm serving coffee! Stay and chat! And no awards, please! Your comments are my awards!
