  2. Perfect! Reminds me of a favorite CS Lewis quote "you're never too old to set a new goal or dream a new dream". Or as Nike says 'just do it!'
    Happy St. Patricks Day 🍀

    1. arrested? oh my....you have me laughing. Oh, the possibilities.
Vince would arrive before you, you know. You'll go by way of Australia! hahaha...

I had a pretty good day. Played with my new camera. (that part did not go so well! oh dear!)
      How's the friend's garden looking?

    2. Thought that would make yer laugh!!
I KNEW you'd say that about Australia too lol. But Ah! I would bring you a Koala Bear!! - now that would surely earn me a few brownie points, now wouldn't it? lol

I expect it will take some time to adjust to the new camera - Rome wasn't built in a day.
I have an old SLR camera and the definition is much better than any digital camera I have had. But I think the modern ones, and maybe your's can take high definition digital and the ones wanted can be transferred onto 35ml film. I may be a bit out of touch with the latest technology.

Yes, great success in the garden - installed a metal edging strip together, for an oval lawn. Interesting project. Still some work to do and then some other projects - one very happy bunny!.

    3. I'm going to plant a eucalyptus tree now so I'll have food for that koala. haha.

I took about 25 photos today and got one good one. haha. But you're right...it has such great definition...a noticeable difference!
Today's lesson was about shutter speeds. It involved math. Not my favorite subject. haha.

The garden sounds lovely! Our yard needs some work after the winter. Not quite warm enough to get out there yet, though.

  12. Well that was direct
What if aliens I want to detect?
    Crap outta luck there
    Or maybe wrestle a bear
    Then I'd be dead
Geez the things that come from your head
    It's a very nice thought
But life and its drawbacks can make it quickly go to pot

    1. Surely you can think of something besides wrestle a bear.
You wouldn't want to touch all that germy hair!
I've known you to just get up and do something new

    1. I think so, too. Life is short...you always hear people say "I wish I had...."

  14. Yup. So true. And I think as we get older it becomes more true. I like the C. S. Lewis quote. And, with tongue-in-cheek, I also like this Mark Twain quote: “Never put off till tomorrow what may be done day after tomorrow just as well."

And now I'm curious about Eddie's desires and why he might get arrested for them! :-) Therein lies a tale, I bet.

    1. You know what curiosity did, don't you!! hahaha!

    2. haha...I love that Twain one, too...sometimes we waste out time fiddling around with things that really don't matter.

Eddie, our imaginations are running away! ha.

  16. A friend of mine posted on facebook linked to my post that she did just this....she just got her ears double pierced so she could always wear the diamond earrings her husband gave her as a wedding gift. That's what I'm talking about...such a little thing we would like to do but just don't get it done for whatever reason. Very fun!

  17. That's why I think your seasonal sidebar lists are great because you make a list of some things that you want to do... and you DO them. You are living this quote, Miss!

    1. Well, I guess you're right! It doesn't have to be a huge event (although, those are great, too!) It can be something small, like painting a room a bold color, getting a new hairstyle, taking a day trip somewhere,...anything! And that reminds me...I have bird suet to make this week! haha.

      Delete
    2. Okay... we'll hide the file in the bird suet!

    3. Don't put ideas in her head, Suza, she is quite cabable all by herself!!! ROFL
