Clorox Wipes Make Over

I love Clorox Wipes and use them all the time,
so I wanted to keep them out on the kitchen counter where
they are convenient to use!  But that container sure is ugly!
I had a candle hurricane that fit exactly over the
container, so I slid a piece of scrap book
paper  in between them and had an instant makeover!

Much better!

    1. Look who's first! :)

I love them...I use them in the kitchen, bathrooms...no rinsing or anything. So convenient!

  2. Okay, good. Because I have never used them before and was a little nervous about having to rinse after - which would be a pain but I would do it if necessary.

Yes indeed F I R S T! Although it seems to be more important to your male readership to be first. Maybe I should delete this and wait... and wait... and wait.. :-)

    6. Poor Eddie Bluelights
      Nicked a vein
      Whatever you do
      Don't try it again!

      Blood is to donate
      Don’t let it flow
      Keep it inside you
      Can’t risk running low

      A bath is for bathing
      Not bleeding and such
      Please no more leaking
      It’s really too much!

    7. Although Betsy sometimes may call me Bert
I'll try my best not to let my veins squirt.
I always make sure now when I take a shower
I avoid any leaks, whose repairs take an hour.

You are right when you say I must keep my blood
And keep donating and donating and to be very good.
I have given an armful and now it looks very white
So I must switch arms or it will just not look right.

Thank you for the poem - it was very funny
Your writing is great - do you do it for money?
Have you ventured from here to my latest post
About Mickey, my budgie and Eddie your host?

  3. By the way, I love that little, tiered stand too. So many uses. And the fruit in the lovely frame with lattice work. Is that a bulletin board? You are so clever!

    1. I've had that tiered stand forever! Yes, that's a little memo board...just made it out of fabric, ribbon and upholstery tacks in a frame. I slide my recipe cards in there when I'm baking.

  4. That is so very clever and practical to have on the counter top. I must go looking for a glass vase that will work. I have them all over the house too, but out of sight. Let's see blue paper for the bathroom, yellow for the kitchen...You've started something Betsy!!

    1. I have them in the bathrooms, too. Maybe we could just cover the containers with paper if we can't find enough hurricanes to go all around the house? haha.

    2. Remember MacTac adhesive paper? We used to use that to "fancify" things.

    6. Yes tht shower accident was REALLY frightening!! It happened again about 3 months ago to a much lesser degree and I applied pressure and it stopped straight away and surprisingly I could not detect any source of where it came!! Yes I'll take some piccies and do a post. Yes I'm glad I didn't donate it all at once - enough for 13 people LOL . . . . HELP!!

      Delete
    7. Yes, it sounded awful! It happened again? Oh my goodness!

Yes, don't give it all at once. I'm afraid you'd be looking rather pale. haha.

  12. I was just checking your spring list. It looks like a good one, especially if it ever gets warm and the grass turns green.
    :0)

    ReplyDelete
  13. So much of it needs to wait for true spring weather! But that's ok...I have enough stuff to keep me busy until then! I've never done a spring one before. It was the hardest by far. It's really still cold outside....and all the spring activities seem to be cleaning....which I need to do. lol... But soon we'll be putting out flowers and gardens...soon, as in 6 weeks or so. hahaha.

  14. You should win an award for, Class and Glass!
It's such a perfect idea for such a obnoxious container. You definitely can leave it out!
It reminds me of when the Kleenex box finally came out with those cute boxes.
    Way to go Betsy!

    3. I apologize in advance for speaking to you, Miss Baker, as I promised not to be a bother to you, but I must in this one instance! I assure you that I am not Mr. Fox! Good Lord! Betsy is a doll! I'm sure you would agree. Bloody hell, she sure has a lot of nicknames, but she fits every damn one of them. Yet Sunshine is my favourite for her. (smiling)

    11. People should get a notice when they are being discussed in the blogs! (smiling) Why does everyone get up in arms when I call Betsy a doll? Gloria, if you were nicer to me, I'd call you a doll, too! Does Mr. Fox call you doll? Is that what this is about? I'd wager a bet that he calls all the women "doll"!

  24. Betsy, you can use Picasa 3 (which is the most recent one) and download it for free. I use it. It does 99% of the things that Photoshop does. And I think your cats would look hysterical pulling you on a sled! On Shadow, On Marmalade, On Jack, On Cocoa!
