The Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Last night we met Taylor and Lauren and went to
The Trans-Siberian Orchestra.  And we felt extra special
since we also got to attend a private pre-concert reception
and see them up close and personal!

In case you haven't heard the famous TSO before, I've
included a video clip of this year's performance.
Video is from youtube.  Photos are from me. :)

Oh so fun!

  1. It looks like it was a lot of fun. Would be nice to see it. So sweet that the young ones enjoy going out with the parents.

    God bless.

    1. No, it was local! The hospital foundation of which The Mr. serves as president, was the sponsor of the event...that's how we got to go to the reception and meet them, too. Very fun! I'm officially in the Christmas mood now. ha.

    1. Their music has the tendency to do that, doesn't it? It sticks with you...but in a good way. ha.

  6. I think that sounds like a splendid night! And brilliant photography from you under what I would imagine would be difficult lighting in such a large arena! I'm glad you got the special treatment with the reception! That's even better than a backstage pass! I thoroughly enjoyed the video and even watched a few of the following attached clips. I have a few of their CD's but watching them in action just takes the biscuit!

How happy I am for you to have a splendid night out on the town!

    1. Well, thanks, V. I wasn't sure any of my photos were going to turn out but they did! Yes, we got the royal treatment and it sure was fun to see them up close. They were all very nice and personable, too.

    1. Well, actually, we went last year! The Mr's business was the sponsor ...they do it every year...so we feel extra lucky to get to go more than once! And you're right...I needed a night out and away from the busy-ness of my little store and basket business. This was just the ticket! :)

  11. That looks great fun. I'm surprised you didn't get jumped on by security for taking photos. They don't seem to like people taking photos at such events here, even with mobile phones.
