Happy New Year

As we close out the year and look forward to 2014,
my wish for all of my friends is that you'll have a
year full of small beautiful moments.....and
the sensitivity to notice and appreciate them!

~~~~~~~
Little drops of water,
Little grains of sand,
Make the mighty ocean
and the pleasant land.
Thus the little minutes,
Humble though they be,
make the mighty ages
of eternity.
  8. What a lovely way to end the year Betsy. I visited a friend this morning who catches and adopts or finds homes for feral cats. As we were sitting at her kitchen table, a few of the shy ones slowly came to my chair, and soon I was sounded with several "Marmalades", and black cats...I shared your cat story with her. You both have saved many cats.. Hat off to both of you. And a Happy New year to you and your five men.
  12. Hi Betsy,
    Many, many wishes for a wonderful and Happy New Year for you, the five men, and that very special DIL you have. May the new year bring many joyful surprises and keep all those precious critters safe within your care. May God and his Angels watch over all of you while you spread the love and joy for which we are blessed to share. And please scratch Nugget behind his ears for us, he always holds a special place in our hearts as the most loving and tolerant rabbit out there. He does Bugs Bunny proud!!!!
    God bless.
    I remember singing that little poem at a school program when I was in elementary school.
    We are having pork and kraut too! Or rather I'm having pork and kraut and the rest are having the ribs bbqued with possibly fries and salad? :) Enjoy your day!
    1. Really? I've never heard it put to music! I'll have to google that and take a listen!
      I found a recipe that swears the non-kraut people will love the kraut, so I'm trying that one. ha. But ribs sound wonderful, too!
