    1. I have to say I am impressed! It's quiet, goes under furniture and the dirt tray is full when it's done! It ran 90 minutes all over the house and then when it sensed that it's battery was low, it took itself back to it's docking station, hooked it's self up to the charger and sounded a little chime to let me know it was done! ha. Pretty cool!

Yeah, the cats don't need to worry. The thing may purr, but it's not too snuggly. lol....I doubt if it would catch mice, either.

  3. Your carpets already look clean! Did you take the pictures after the robot vacuum passed by?

    1. They weren't too dirty...I vacuum the kitchen/living/dining area every day...the curse of dark carpets, boys and pets. lol.....
But that thing still picked up a ton of dirt. The dirt cup was full!

  4. Cute. :0)
One of my cats takes off running for the door as soon as I touch my vacuum cleaner. I wonder if she's like a Roomba? How often do those kids have to be emptied?

    1. Some of mine are terrified of the big vacuum and others follow it like it's entertainment. ha. It says to empty it every time you use it, but the bagless dirt thing holds about 4 cups, I guess. I think mine found rabbit hair under the couches and that filled it up. ha.

  6. Neat present! Sounds like it really works, too. Nice if it really frees you up from having to push the vacuum cleaner all over the house.

Sounds like you all had a nice Christmas. Glad that the boys really got into it this year!

  9. Great idea, Betsy. Funny I was wondering just the other day when a cordless vacuum cleaning might be available and this looks like the forerunner. Looks a very clever piece of kit. Shame it can't move the furniture and do the dusting and the washing up then you'd have a lot more time for blogging. LOL

Loved your captions and the story line.

Glad it doesn't vacuum the cat

    1. Yeah, if only it could do the dusting and clean the bathrooms, I'd be all set! haha....oh, I would be fat and lazy then, wouldn't I? lol....I could have two blogs like you! rofl....

    2. Err actually I have three!! The third is Socrates' Soliloques ROFL. It does not get used much!! . . . . . . in fact Platos Procrastinations doesn't either . . . . . . . you see I have to do things like vacuuming, washing, ironing, cleaning, cooking wtc etc etc . . . . . . . . . my word, A Man's Work Is Never Done!" LOL

    3. Three?? My, you are a better multi-tasker than me! I couldn't handle more than one blog. Quality over quantity, I think. ha. One is almost more than I can handle...lol....how can you think of names for them all? ha.

  11. Your cats are so intelligent. Not many cats communicate like yours. I can't stop laughing...The captions are priceless. What a nice gift...Does this mean you can sit with a cup of coffee and watch your house get cleaned?? HaHa.

    1. OK...I will! So far I'm loving it......I have it running right now...it's gone under the beds and into the closets...love that! I think Bugsy would be very entertained, too.

  16. Laughing hard! Perfect captions - cats are so intensely fascinated with new things, aren't they? I love their various expressions. I didn't realise it recharged itself by itself. Very tech savvy... and kinda scary!

  18. Most interesting. We are thinking about one of these but I'm concerned it would fall down the stairs. Your cats look so suspicious!

    1. It's supposed to sense the drop at the stairs and not go down! Smart little guy, huh!

  19. Hmmmm we aren't grubby people but we live in the world's dustiest house. Maybe I'll look at getting one. Then I wouldn't have to clean when I get home from work. Thanks.
