You, too! I had a feeling I wasn't the only one. They are similar but different circumstances I'd rather it was reversed with all the butter gone, and a little tp left! hahahaha...
Must be a common occurrence. My butter dish often looks like that. What I'd like to know is why someone would put the milk jug back with nary a drop inside. Half a tablespoon of milk is scarcely worth saving.
As far as the TP, the worst thing is when the roll is empty and the new ones are out of reach. I try to remember to set a new one on the back of the toilet tank ahead of time, just in case. No time to drip dry!
More than ever convinced I share my house with a man in a million; he replaces the loo roll before it needs doing, piles a cupboard high with boxes of tissues and replaces empty boxes as soon as can be and AND does the washing up. Plus he does all the food shopping and most of the cooking too. How lucky am I?
Oh my gosh...that is hilarious! It reminds me of when we had two teenage boys at home and a fridg/freezer without an ice cube maker. I'd open the freezer to get some ice cubes, only to find six totally emply trays, or maybe one cube in each! I still have a "toilet paper man" in my house! :)
Haha Betsy, as to the toilet paper my husband has been changing a bit lately, after 30 years. Because I have trained myself not to "notice" the empty dispenser and go downstairs to my son's bathroom... Christel
Somehow leaving an empty whatever doesn't bother me as much as leaving "just a little bit". To me that seems deliberate as though the person has deliberately avoided having to replace the used up item or clear something up. If they leave a little bit they can just walk away and leave it because it isn't done with! xx
Disgraceful! I'd never do such a thing. (cough-cough).
ReplyDeleteAnd could I be first? Ah, The Silver Fox looses!
Vincent.
choking on those words? ha ha.
Deleteuh oh, I have one of those people here and theres just the two of us!! ( not naming names, lol)

The logic is if he used the last of it,he would have to do something with the dirty dishes : )
ReplyDeletemaybe that's it....but then what does he feel about the empty tp roll? ha.
DeleteTaylor does this allllll the time. His newest one is to use all the tissues then leave the empty tissue box on the counter. Those Brock boys...

ReplyDeleteHi Becky! Oh, that is a funny one! There's just something about taking the last...it makes you obligated to replenish! haha.
DeleteThis sort of thing is sinful in our house haha, funny post Betsy.
ReplyDeletesinful,....that's a good word for it! ha.
DeleteHaha Betsy, as to the toilet paper my husband has been changing a bit lately, after 30 years. Because I have trained myself not to "notice"
