What a darling Mrs. Finch in her fashionable puffed coat. I think I could sit at your window all day long. But tomorrow is "Countdown" to Thanksgiving, so I won't be doing much sitting. How about you?
I admit to looking out the window way too much! haha. Maybe that's how I learned to multi-task. ha.
Oh yes...it is the countdown! I have my list and my schedule mapped out for the week. It's a whirlwind of activity beginning bright and early Monday morning!
Pretty little bird. A blustery wind has been howling since yesterday. Our windchill right now is 7 degrees and it is suddenly winter! I finally got my Thanksgiving turkey this afternoon, last day of the sale, and it's still in the back of my van. It's just like keeping it in the freezer, which is full of green chile and has no room for turkey.
That reminds me of when I worked full time. In the winter I would do my weekly grocery shopping on my lunch hour. I could leave it all in the trunk of my car and the frozen stuff would stay frozen! I didn't even think to check the wind chill, but I'm sure it's frigid. Brrr.
so are the cats layering up? ours has really thick fur right now. intriguing how their little bodies know how to adjust like that. was in th 20s here this morning...and they are saying snow on tuesday or wednesday. woot!
