haha how cute they snuggling up...after our weekend away the cat wanted to lay on me last night...and did not want me to read or do anything but be still...lol
How heart warming that your felines curl up on your rag doll. And that is in your studio, isn't it? I guess they are all lounging in there because you are there, Sunshine! I don't blame them one bit.
And let me guess! You were in a space ship to take that photo of the moon? Splendid!
Are there clouds hanging over you today, Sunshine? Your Happening Now bulletin sounds some what blue. Here's sending some warming, loving breezes your way to chase away those clouds! I hope you have a smile on that pretty face of yours and don't waste your time on anyone or anything that doesn't make you happy! Life is too short!
Your moon picture is beautiful Betsy, the moon here tonight is very bright, but not as beautiful as this. Typical of cats to make do with any lap in a storm hey! xx
Alex is great! I went out to ask and they said they haven't had a problem since that day I got him off the bus myself! yay! Thanks so much for asking! :)
Raggedy Ann's lap is so very inviting. I love that each of them found it and in a different position. I had two darling Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls years ago. I had a new niece, and we were dirt poor, so I have them to Amy. I know she loved them when she was little, but she almost 40 and after my brother's divorce we have not had much contact except to send a Birthday Card. Wonder if she still has them, or they've been passed on again. I wonder??? The moon is outstanding!
Love the kitties all adapting to the lap. Smoke is saying, "Excuse me? Trying to get a few winks here, Betsy!" :-) They look so cosy. I bet it is fun to be surrounded by all that purring. Maybe one day you can do a wee recording for us if a lot of them are vocalising.
GORGEOUS moon. I shiver looking at it. Very strong winds here too last night and predicted again for tonight. I know it was not as bad as your tornado warnings... but I thought at one point my windows were going to implode! Scary. I hope it is calmer tonight.
Alex is great! I went out to ask the bus aide this afternoon how he was doing and he said they haven't had a single problem with him since the day I got on the bus and told him what was what! haha. Yay! I was so happy to hear that!
I wonder if they want a human doll or a cat one at my hall. 14 stuffed cats for 14 cats at my mat. Could get a little crowded though as I wade through the furry show.
We had wild winds all day. They tried to blow m y garbage cans across the yard but I was too quick and caught them before they traveled any great distance.
Love the Raggedy Ann cat napper. Maybe I should get one of those for my little dog.
What a wonderful photograph of the moon. And after the weather you have been having I don't blame the cat for finding shelter where he can. Stay safe Betsy
Funny how the American Raggedy Anns are usually in orange tones...whereas the Canadian dolls are always red and white! I plan to make Vivian a very unconventional doll...various colors...to suit her vivacious personality!♥ I scrambled outside in the wind, last night...to get a few more shots of that glorious Moon... Glad to hear Alex is AOK!!! Enjoy your day♥ Don't let things get to you.....{read your sidebar...as always!}
Hi Betsy, the moon was just as spectacular at our side of the ocean! And one raggedy Ann I also knew a long time ago. It belonged to Joanna, a young American girl, whose babysitter I was, while I was a student at the university of Tubingen. The doll had a brother called raggedy Andy, who belonged to Joannas brother Jeremy. They all returned to the States long ago and unfortunately I have lost contact,,, Nice memories though... Christel

DeleteYes, it's in my studio and as soon as I sat in there to work they found me and warmed up the place. :)
DeleteNope...standing on the ground! :)

DeleteCute pictures of the cats with Raggedy Ann, and your moon shot is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI didn't even expect to see the moon last night! It was very bright all night, too...looked like a light was on outside the window!
DeleteLove the kitties all adapting to the lap. Smoke is saying, "Excuse me? Trying to get a few winks here, Betsy!" :-) They look so cosy. I bet it is fun to be surrounded by all that purring. Maybe one day you can do a wee recording for us if a lot of them are vocalising.

A recording of them would be fun! I do have one of Smoke jumping inside from the open window. Pretty funny.
DeleteThe wind just makes you feel cold even when you're only listening to it, don't you think? It's still windy here!
Oh... and I hope Alex is okay... have been thinking about him since I saw your little note in the sidebar...

DeleteGlad to see you didn't blow away!
hahaha they have a new friend
ReplyDeleteI sense a trend
Soon you'll have to get them all a doll
As they fight over it at your hall
I wonder if they want a human doll
Deleteor a cat one at my hall.
14 stuffed cats
for 14 cats at my mat.
Could get a little crowded though
as I wade through the furry show.
lol yes, but you'd have to get a bunny too
DeleteSo Nugget doesn't feel left out at your zoo
Weren't you higher than 14
There at your scene
In the last year Tipper, Mustache and Oreo disappeared.
DeleteThen Cocoa came near.
So 14 it remains.
Hopefully we won't any more gain. :)
Any cozy lap will do :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think that's true!
DeleteWe had wild winds all day. They tried to blow m y garbage cans across the yard but I was too quick and caught them before they traveled any great distance.
ReplyDeleteLove the Raggedy Ann cat napper. Maybe I should get one of those for my little dog.
I bet that little dog would love Raggedy!
DeleteI love how they all snuggle up to Raggedy Ann..."Mama!" :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe they know she has that "I love you" stitched in a heart on her chest. :)
DeleteReading "Happenings Now".
ReplyDeleteIt makes me happy to read, Thinking ~ happy thoughts. Feeling ~ busy...happily busy!"
My heart is with you!

ReplyDeletehaha...shall I keep your name? Freckles makes a great cat name! I named a little stray mama cat that over the summer..but she never came back!
