No, he wasn't! Cracked me up....looks like he has an attitude, too!
Now, who wouldn't stop and take a look at you, Sunshine?Vincent

When was the last time you saw Mr. Cardinal?
Remember that beautiful picture of him on my post last Friday?
I remember! It was a stunning photograph!V.
I thought so...one of my favorites!
this bird is beautiful Betsy!
Isn't it? I love them. Do you have blue jays? I can't remember....
No I. Dont see these lovely here but others reds I saw here I dont remember the name in english!
Cardinals! haha....you and Silver want to talk about the cardinals! I'll have to snap another photo of him soon. He's pretty, too!
yes we have spme of them here at house sometimes I see:)
I think you need a bird calendar to complement the cat one... or to compete with it! lol
I think that would be a fun idea! :)
I thought so too.
I always love seeing a Blue Jay around. Colorful!
they announce their coming quite loudly, don't they? Not a very musical bird, that's for sure! haha....
I bought another big bag of birdseed the other day. Not sure how often I want to fill the feeder though. I heard they can get dependent.
yeah, I don't fill it in the summer and fall...plenty of seed around for them with the plant life. But once the frost hits, they come to the feeder. I just started filling it again last week. If you start, you can't stop or they will starve. But why would you want to stop? I enjoy them too much.
I think maybe I will fill it just once a week. That way I can enjoy them occasionally and they will not be looking for a handout every day.
And maybe, if you're lucky, it will take them a week to empty it! :)
that first one is awesome bets....great capture...love the color and markings....
They are beautiful, aren't they? I wish his whole body was in that shot! ha.
One of my favorites, Betsy....What kind of tree is that? Those berries are fabulous!Enjoy your evening♥Cheers!Linda :o)
It's a golden crabapple....sure does make for good photos, doesn't it?
"Hey Betsy, you lookin at me???" "Yes, and I've got my camera right here!" Love your little feathered friends, and the magnificent captures you get from your window.
haha...that's exactly what he looks like he's saying! Either that or, "Hey, we're out of peanuts here!" lol....
The blue jays sure stick outBright blue all aboutAs they sit and stareWondering how long before they become chow at your lair lol
I moved the feeder up a little highsince Shadow was getting them by and by.Not the jays...but other birdsas he'd jump from the ground without saying a word.lol...Remember when you asked if my 14 was a little low?I forgot that Freckles had earlier joined the show. But she didn't come back after that week.So I can't claim her to make the number peak.ha.
haha geez Shadow had lunchEasy as he picked from the bunchAhh knew there was one moreGuess 14 is your lucky number at your shore
Shadow catches birds in the airlike his mother, with such flair.Had to make it harder to reachcuz he won't listen to me when I preach!haha.
Amazing photos, Betsy! I especially love the first one... that beautiful blue head and bright shiny berry!! Well done. blessings ~ tanna
Isn't the wonderful? There are two of them hanging around the feeder. They love the peanuts.
Enjoyed your blurb about Spencer. It's great that not only is he laughing and "getting" the funny moments, but he's looking at you and sharing in the fun with you.
I know...isn't that great? The social stuff is so hard and there was definitely a spark of something new there. Loved it!
They are so pretty!
one of my favorites!
They are so beautiful...such a perfect shade of blue. We had some stop by our bird bath for a few days and then they were gone.
I've been terrible about keeping our bird bath full of clean water this year! :( Poor birdies!
And that's a real compliment coming from you, Andy! Thanks!
Hi Betsy, I love your pictures of your beautiful native birds! And I am looking forward to the ones to come! Today I will start feeding our birds properly. It has been raining for days and is getting quite cold. Christel
It is SO dark and rainy here today! And I'm glad I get to stay home and not be out in it! Yes, you're like me...start the feeders when the cold hits. The variety of birds that have shown up this week has been amazing! Woodpecker, titmouse, cedar waxwings, pinesiskins...I am always amazed and wonder who puts out the call that there is food! :)
Beautiful, that bird is such a little cutie!
What a wonderful shade of blue. I'd love to find one of their feathers.
Just catching up! Yep, that little birdie is definately watching you Betsy!!! xx
I'm serving coffee! Stay and chat! And no awards, please! Your comments are my awards!
