Drink A Pumpkin Spice Latte

I worked an auction today!
It was a dark, rainy day with temps in the 40's.  Brrr!
It was one of those auctions  where we stood on concrete in an
unheated metal barn and felt a chill going through our bones!

haha....Something hot to drink on my way home
was just the ticket.  And I got to check it off
my Fall Fun To Do List!

    2. No, not rainy. It was actually pretty nice. Breezy and cool. Lovely Fall day. I think a few rainy days would be relaxing :)

    1. You know, it was just okay...but it was my first, so I have nothing to compare it to. I'll have
to pay twice as much at Starbucks and see if it's twice as good. lol....
Lots of goodies at the auction...filled my Jeep. Mostly to resale, but a few to keep! :)

    1. I guess you wouldn't have liked the pumpkin cinnamon pancakes I made for dinner, either? Or pumpkin bread? Pumpkin muffins? Pumpkin cheesecake? Pumpkin pie?

    2. Oh, I'll eat pumpkin, just not drink it. Feel free to take a road trip and bake for me any time!

    3. Maybe you have to be pregnant to fully enjoy these. I never liked pumpkin coffee drinks before this year, but they are becoming a sad addiction lately.

  4. I love drinking coffees and warm teas when it gets cold, a welcome bonus that you can cross it off now as well!

  10. Poor thing! I hate being cold but I hate being hot worse. Cold don't make you sweat and you can't take off enough clothes to stay cool. ;)
You need a little space heater you can drag around with you and a long drop cord. ha.
Not a pumpkin person but i'd try one with spicy sweet potato. Was cool this morning, hot this afternoon. My long sleeved t'shirt was too much
as the heat came up. Tis a southern thing. We rarely get/stay cold enough all day to wear long sleeves or jackets. Maybe 30-days the whole of winter and then it must be raining to keep the chill going.

    Blessed Sunday!

    1. I totally agree...I'd rather be cold! I get cranky when I'm hot and sweaty! Your winter sounds like our fall....cool in the morning but warm by afternoon. Have to wear layers to peel off as the temperature rises! ha.

  13. Burr..it must have been really cold. I had a Starbucks Pumpkin Latte and was disappointed as it was so STRONG with the pumpkin it lost the Latte flavor. I see yours was Mac D... I'll try that next time. You are really getting things checked off that list!!

    1. Well, this one wasn't wonderful. It was just hot, which is what I needed. I probably wouldn't choose it again! Sounds like we need to get a half pumpkin/half regular coffee at Starbucks to make it really good. ha.

    2. or...I did see pumpkin spice latte coffee creamer at the grocery....that in our own coffee might be perfect! ha.

    3. Great idea..I'll look for it at our grocery store.

My list is going well - inspired by you! - trying to tick a few more things off today - lots of tupperware and pyrex to sort out agggggggghhhhhhhh.

  18. I was curious how the lattes from McD's taste. I've only had Starbucks. I tried the creamer that they sell in the grocery stores and it tastes like potpourri.

      The McD's was just ok....I wouldn't get it again. I haven't had Starbucks....I hope it's better!
