We saw the moon, but not as beautiful as this Betsy!
We were out Friday night when I took this picture...loved the color!
Gorgeous! Yes, it was bright and beautiful here.
I didn't know it was called the Hunter's Moon until I looked it up. And it's easy to see why...it was very bright!
We've been having lots of rain at night, but we did get a short glimpse of it last night. Your picture is gorgeous!
I love taking photos of the moon....so much more cooperative than living moving kids and animals. ha. ....except the clouds can be real stinkers and sabotage the whole thing. lol....
We have a cloudy day today maybe later sometimes happens anyway you always have lovely moon;)
Oh, I know...last time there was a "special" full moon, we had clouds and rain and I didn't see it! This time the skies were clear!
You took this photo? It's brilliant! I dare say I have never in my life seen the moon like this! And what is this you say about wanting to be a photographer? It is obvious that you have achieved that goal. May I have your permission to copy your photo here for my personal enjoyment? I see you have your watermark on it. I would be honoured if you would allow me to use it as my screensaver!
Sure....it would make a lovely screensaver! :)
I'll cherish it with much gratitude, milady!
You're welcome. :) btw...do I know you?

Please don't worry your pretty little head. I am not a stalker or any such thing. I stumbled upon your delightful blog several months ago and was immediately captivated by your life, sense of humour, strength and beauty. I hadn't the bloody courage to comment until now. I hope you won't mind me joining in the delightful conversation every so often. And good day to Gloria. I have recognized that you comment here often. Your full moon photograph looks stunning on my computer. Thank you again.
OK :) The more the merrier, I always say!
I always think of you now when I see the moon.
Oh yeah? haha...well, I've talked about it here enough to make people do that...clouds, too!
Another stellar moon shot. I think I see the US flag it's so clear!
now that would be cool!

I MISSED it!! Thank goodness you caught it beautifully, so I can still enjoy it! blessings ~ tanna
I know you get up when the moon is still out..haha...don't forget to look up!

SO gorgeous - yes I did see it - gorgeous photo!Mary x
thanks, mary....it was spectacular!
Didn't see it in CA, but your Zoom lens is really a Zoom lens. Makes me want to go on an old fashioned hay ride, build a bonfire, and roast hotdogs. That was the highlight of Fall when I was a teenager. In fact my first date was a hayride. I ask the guy out. But then I've never been shy. Tee Hee.
Oh, that sounds fun...I haven't done that in years and years! I bet that guy still remembers your fun hay ride date, too! :)
Fantastic...I got a decent one on Friday night as well...but not the rich color, like yours...Ah yes....clouds and moons....2 of our favorite things, eh Betsy!Enjoy your evening...Cheers!Linda :o)
I noticed it had a lot of color early in the evening when it was close to the horizon...and by the time it was high in the sky, it was just white again!
I saw it the other night when I took the dog outside. Gotta love those big pumpkin head harvest moons!Reminds me that I need to make some cutout cookies.
pumpkin heads...haha...that's the perfect description! Cutout cookies would be fun!
It was a beauty!
I love when you can see the man in the moon face...so fun!
It is a beauty!
love the orange ones!
I just went outside to look at it. I see lots of stars but no moon anywhere, it must of skipped Oklahoma tonight,mYour photo is breath taking,
Aw, he's hiding? Shame on him! lol...
Now the moon look beautiful here Betsy, anyway "your moon" look more beautiful lol
Soon it will be a crescent...my favorite! :)
I did, and it was so beautiful! I loved it's orange color!
I'm sure it was spectacular above those Rocky Mtns! :)
Gorgeous photo. I saw her on Friday night. I was out at the theatre and turned the corner to the entrance to my building and pow! It was like a spotlight on a stage. And I was the star! Well... really the moon was the star :-)
Well, how very cool! But you know, the moon only reflects light...it must have been you that was shining! :)
That's a fine photograph. We flew back from Spain late last night and the moon was so bright, at times I thought we might be heading for home after a refuelling stop a Tranquility International..
haha...and what a way to go, right? A comfy jet ride into the ever after! :)
So beautiful, photos like this makes me wonder if there actually might be cheese on the moon haha!
haha...let's go find out!
You did it!! You got a beautiful shot! And...Yep. I saw it. :)JaG
