Fabulous Flip Flops

I had put on my Summer To Do List that I wanted to
add some bling to a pair of flip flops!
Well, this afternoon, I dug through my ribbon stash
and my vintage jewelry stash and grabbed my hot
glue gun.  It took 5 minutes to attach this pretty
ribbon and coordinating old clip on earrings!
My brown flip flops never looked so pretty!

And Jack enthusiastically approved!

One more fun thing crossed off my list!

  7. How very clever of you! Do you think my feet would look 'better' if I embellished a few of my flip-flops? Actually I saw a pair of sunglasses in a Vogue magazine recently .. certain they must retail for many, many $$$. I am going to hot glue gun a few silky, satiny decorative flowers on the upper, outside corners of an old pair of mine. Wish me luck.

  12. Love it! I remember we jazzed up some flip flops for my daughter to wear to prom when her date was just a bit shorter than her, it must of been around 2001. One of my grandmothers always wore clip on earrings and I never understood how, those things hurt ears. They look great on your flip flops.
    Fun memories.

  15. I saw this on your list, and was hoping you would share the finished results. :) I like them, but I doubt they would last around my house--Sugar Pea likes to chew on sparkly shoes. :) She and Nugget have that in common--although I'm expecting her to outgrow her chewing fetish, and he probably won't. ha
