I had put on my Summer To Do List that I wanted to
add some bling to a pair of flip flops!
Well, this afternoon, I dug through my ribbon stash
and my vintage jewelry stash and grabbed my hot
glue gun. It took 5 minutes to attach this pretty
ribbon and coordinating old clip on earrings!
My brown flip flops never looked so pretty!
And Jack enthusiastically approved!
One more fun thing crossed off my list!
♥
They are pretty, but I could never get used to anything between my toes!
ReplyDeleteNo flip flops for you ever? I live in them when it's warm. ha.
DeleteThose are so cute! I have had a few pairs of beaded flip-flops and I love the sparkle. :)
ReplyDeleteoooh..they sound pretty!
DeleteI bet he is thinking
ReplyDeleteWith all out in the breeze winking
Something new to chew
When you aren't in view
He doesn't chew
Deletebut Nugget will...anything in view!
Poor nugget always gets the blame
DeleteFor the chewing game
gorgeous, and all yours!Very crafty!!
ReplyDeleteNot bad, huh! At it was fun, too!
DeleteWhat a great idea. I think you made have started a "trend". I need to look through my jewelry. Your feet and new bling flip flops are a smash!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice little change and cost me nothing. Very fun!
DeleteWow.. I love these! Very creative! I love flip flops, too. They are the summer wardrobe for my feet. Reminds me of your pedi party.
ReplyDeleteIt's probably about time we had another party, too!
DeleteHow very clever of you! Do you think my feet would look 'better' if I embellished a few of my flip-flops? Actually I saw a pair of sunglasses in a Vogue magazine recently .. certain they must retail for many, many $$$. I am going to hot glue gun a few silky, satiny decorative flowers on the upper, outside corners of an old pair of mine. Wish me luck.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I bet they will look as fabulous as the pricey ones!
DeleteFun Flip Flop Fashion Fabulous Feet! They look great!

ReplyDeleteOh no! You and Kat! It must be more common than we know!
DeleteNice work!
ReplyDeleteSo dang cute!
ReplyDeleteJaG
I was pretty pleased with them!
DeleteLove it! I remember we jazzed up some flip flops for my daughter to wear to prom when her date was just a bit shorter than her, it must of been around 2001. One of my grandmothers always wore clip on earrings and I never understood how, those things hurt ears. They look great on your flip flops.
ReplyDeleteFun memories.
What a great idea....and I agree about the pain. How did they wear them???
DeleteHow cute! I would never have thought to do something like this to jazz up my flip flops. Might just have to steal this idea!
ReplyDeleteplease do! But I want to see the results! :)
Deletewow those turned out quite pretty betsy...
ReplyDeleteha jack is def cute...
bet my cat is not happy with me right now...being gone on vacation...
he will be happy to tell us all about it come sunday...smiles.
Thanks, Brian :)
DeleteOh, you'll hear all about it when you get back.
That happened to us when we got back..times 15! haha.
So, who's feeding little Domino, anyway?
I saw this on your list, and was hoping you would share the finished results. :) I like them, but I doubt they would last around my house--Sugar Pea likes to chew on sparkly shoes. :) She and Nugget have that in common--although I'm expecting her to outgrow her chewing fetish, and he probably won't. ha
ReplyDeleteA marvelous make-over! You are so clever...
ReplyDeletewell, thanks...this one was easy and fun!
DeleteA nice, thrifty way to add a little sparkle!
ReplyDeleteand here I thought you'd say my feet were cute. Sigh! lol....
