Golden Kiss Melon

One of the things on my Summer Fun To Do List was to try a
new kind of fruit!  So last week I picked up a Golden Kiss Melon
at Sam's Club.  The sticker said it was from the Sandstone Melon Co.

It was super sweet, firm and delicious!

It has a really intense melon taste that leaves the regular old
common cantaloupe seeming kind of blah! ha.
Not only did I find another favorite fruit, I get to cross another
fun thing off my list!  If you find any Golden Kiss Melons,
I highly recommend them!

Last year I tried a Honey Kiss, and they were really good, too!

Have you painted your toe nails yet?
Pedi party is in 6 days!

  6. Hi Betsy .. I love those really sweet melons - and that one looks extra delicious.

Painting nails - yes, but have a friend here and they're dull red! But as I was looking at the post then reading I wondered about painting the skin of the melon, or using it as a 'stamp' ... could provide an interesting background ... then I saw your toenail reminder!

Cheers and have some happy summer days ahead .. Hilary

  7. Oh Betsy this sounds just amazing! I love the idea of trying a new fruit and I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed this one! I have a weird relationship with melons, sometimes I love them and then I'll get a different one and find it a little bland but this sounds like it'd slot nicely into my "love" category, sounds awesome!

  8. Golden Kiss Melons.... That's quite a name. Golden kiss melons... I've kissed melonds before but they were never, you know, golden ;) Sorry, I just couldn't resist. That's exactly why I shouldn't paint my toe nails.

    Hope you're doing fine.
