Rain

Anyone that knows me well, knows that is always rains on
the day I run errands!  It's kind of become a joke.
More than once I've run into someone while shopping that says,
"Well, that explain the rain!  Looks, it's Betsy!"  haha.
So today when I left for the grocery and it was gorgeous blue
skies and bright sunshine, I still made sure I had my little
umbrella in my purse!

And sure enough...the skies got dark....it sprinkled...
and then it poured... not cats and dogs, but elephants!  hahaha.
If that is not funny to you, check out yesterday's post. :)

I'm just glad I didn't leave the sunroof open!
Been there...done that!

  2. I figure if I leave the sunroof open, it will surely rain, and likely come down in buckets. We're expecting rain and thunderstorms tomorrow. Of course, my mom is gone to Rachel's for the weekend. Maybe I'll take that walk in the rain. :)

    1. That sounds like a wonderful plan. Hope it's a nice slow rain for walking and not elephants blowing sideways. haha. How nice for Rachel to take your mom. I hope they enjoy the weekend, too!

  3. HaHa...raining elephants. Got the joke!! Talked to Jill in Brookings, as rained for three days, but sun out today as they have to drive a couple hours for her Dr. appt. They closed the Birthing Center in Brookings...not enough babies..so now she had her weekly check ups in Grants Pass, and that is also where she'll have the baby...Rule No. 1 in life...be flexible!! Yes??

    1. bad luck I am, some would agree
as with cold weather, rain tends to freeze!

I like my windows 7 just fine.
maybe I won't update and keep the sublime.
      haha.

I hope with you things don't break in threes
as you would have two to go, and maybe some fleas.

  13. Ah Betsy, it´s raining all the time over here, too. And it is rather cold. Our newspaper said today, that now 50% of all German farmland is under water. Certainly we cannot blame you, as you didn´t run any errands here! I seldom complain about the weather, but it´s getting a bit much with that rain and grey skies...I do think of of all these siblings of deer and rabbits and birds in the dripping wet fields. At least we can have our central heating through all of summer, if necessary. It´s one of my consolations about Mimi´s death, that at least she could spent her last months warm and dry...
    Have a nice weekend

    1. haha...no, I didn't have anything to do with your constant rain...although I suppose it does eventually blow your direction! :) I guess you don't have to worry about a draught later in the summer and the forest animals certainly aren't thirsty! :)

  14. You should be glad that you don't live over here.
I just heard that we get 71 days of sunshine. The rest are rainy.

It is kinda funny how it does rain on you during error day.
    And it's really obvious.
