I wish you could have a couple, too! What a great choice for a brunch, too....they seem special and fancy, but when I make them, realize how easy they really are!
Betsy...I tried making these a few weeks ago with chocolate chips in the micro, which said on the package you could do. The chocolate tuned to glue. I ruined two packages. Any tips?
Yes! I use a microwave, but you can't do it on high power. I use the defrost level and stir after every 30 seconds. Chocolate can burn very easily and it will turn hard and gritty if you burn it. Try again! I use ghiradelli chocolate chips...the semi sweet ones.
haha...she's from Pennsylvania! We've never eaten kraut on ours and she has us hooked! :) She does love cheese, though...I wonder if she has ancestors from WI. haha.
This has me craving these so much Betsy! I remember when I was over in America buying chocolate covered strawberries from Godiva and just being sent to heaven, mmmm!
Those really look good. We buy the little tubs of chocolate and then melt them in the microwave but you have to melt them slowly as you said or it burns and it is gross. But we use fresh bananas along with the strawberries because the fresh bananas taste better than the frozen bananas. Blackberries are good too but harder to work with and so to just lay them on a platter lined with parchment paper is the easiest way to do them. I guess that would work with all the smaller berries or just throw them into the chocolate and soon them out but it seems as if that would be a gooey mess.
Yum! Looks like a wonderful treat!
