    1. haha...well, congratulations on beating the rhyming cat
and the baking Gloria....and all the others that try.
It's always fun to be first!

Isn't he so beautiful? I have several cardinals in the yard but this one
is special. He poses. He looks at me. And he has a special twinkle in his
      eye!

  3. Wow... great pic! He is so regal! I just love cardinals. I think I've mentioned before that they remind me of my mother. And what a coincidence. I JUST emailed you a drawing that Ryan gave me for Mother's Day. It is a drawing of a cardinal. I thought you would enjoy seeing his bird drawing. Then I came on here and saw your cardinal!

  15. Beautiful bird! I have pair at my feeder several times a day and for the past few weeks I've had a pair of Baltimore orioles at my oriole and hummingbird feeders. They are also stunning. I've often told my husband and sons that when I get too old and decrepit to do anything, they can just sit me in front of the window where I can see all the feeders and I'll be content!
