My current snack obsession!
Dried cherries, pineapple, mango,
apricots and dates!
I really love kiwi, but it's hard to find!
I made granola yesterday and was happy to
have enough leftover fruit to fill my snacking jar.
Jar and marble slab, courtesy of the auction trash. :)
♥
It's arranged so NICELY! What happens if you want an apricot and they're at the bottom of the jar?
ReplyDeleteI guess you have to eat your way there! ha.
DeleteMmmm, pretty and yummy. Can't beat that!
ReplyDeleteI think they have as much sugar as jelly beans, hahaha...
DeleteI love the jar of course:))))
ReplyDeleteI love dry apricots yummy!!!
me, too! :) I have 5 of those jars...all from the auction trash! They remind me of my childhood. :)
Deleteso you have five?? mghhgh!
DeleteI wanna live there to only look the trash LOL
Yes, I didn't find them all at the same time, but over the year I found one here and there!
DeleteI don't think I'll ever stop being amazed at the stuff left behind. It is amazing to me!
Those apricots look like the ones I chop up for the Scones I make. I do love dried fruit. One of my favorites is pineapple. Don loved the corn pudding. It was good.
ReplyDeleteYou made me so hungry for that corn pudding! I'm going to have to make it soon!
Deleteoooo i want some...i love dried fruit...ever since we took it hiking...and bananas dried too...and some granola...snack snack snack...smiles...you made me hungry...happy friday!
ReplyDeleteI'll share my fruit, but you can keep the banana chips. Those I don't really care for! I like the chewy ones! :)
DeleteI'm never really sure if I like dried fruit or not. Some of it is okay and others are downright nasty. Then again, raisins rarely disappoint me. I do love your jar full of fruit though.
ReplyDeleteTaylor thought the cherries were nasty. ha. Yeah, you can't go wrong with raisins. Or craisins. Seems like the flavor is very consistent. I think the banana chips are yucky.
DeleteDon't show that to me! I'M ON A DIET!
ReplyDeleteOf dried fruit hahaha ;)
diet of dried fruit or diet off dried fruit? ha.
DeleteOne man's trash, another man's treasure!! The dried fruit looks beautiful in that jar, Betsy. Wishing you a wonderful Mother's Day!! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteI usually have mixed nuts in that jar. Dried fruit is a nice change!
DeleteA delicious looking snack obsession...and good for you, too. I think I need to branch out. Other than raisins, I don't eat much dried fruit, so pretty in your attractive jar.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm the opposite. I like raisins just fine, but never buy them! Maybe we need to trade! ha.
DeleteA snack attack
ReplyDeleteThere at your shack
I hope all the fruit
Doesn't make you toot hahahaha
haha..so far it has not.
Deletewouldn't want to let out a fart.
lol...
It varies on the dried fruit for me but it's definitely a great way of snacking without being too unhealthy, my favourite dried fruit are cherries, simply amazing tasting.
ReplyDeleteyep...I'm enjoying the cherries! Not too sweet...and a little bit tart!
DeleteOMG, Betsy!! I can NEVER get enough of these kinds of "snacks." In fact, the package becomes empty before I get tired of the taste or the eating.... and peanuts... oh... don't get me started!!
ReplyDeleteYep...I agree that they are quite addictive! Love peanuts, too...well, any nut actually! It was mixed nut in my jar last..and almonds before that. yum!
DeleteEver dehydrate your own pineapple? Man alive, way better than anything at the markets.
ReplyDeleteNo, I have not! Ooooh...now you have me curious! I'm sure it's delish...like the difference between fresh and canned!
