Oreo
Just a little over a week ago, when we still had snow,
I took this picture while sitting at my desk in the kitchen.
Maybe sitting in the tree beside the feeder was a
'hidden in plain sight' idea for catching a bird. :)
This week, we celebrated the lovely Lauren's birthday.
As usual, Spencer stole the show helping us sing
and Harry stole the show blowing out the candles
in his very unique way. :)
Taylor, Spencer, Harry and Alex
I needed some new photos of the boys for a
graduation open house invitation. Next month
one graduates from college and the other three
from high school! Hard to believe!
We're just going to have one big celebration!
We did a little photo shoot this week.
So much easier than hiring a photographer
or me trying to take a group photo.
You all know how those turn out! haha.
At least they are all smiling!
I was pleased...it doesn't get any better than these.
Are you having a nice weekend?
We're still watching basketball!
Hard not to pull for Louisville after their
inspiring win last week! :)

Enjoy your week-end !

thanks, pierre...you, too! :)
DeleteI always love your photos! Congratulations on your graduates!
ReplyDeleteI have one graduating this year also!
Basketball is on here, too, of course. If we can't have the Wildcats in the Final Four,
we'll root for the Cards!
;0)
s
congrats to your graduate, too! how very fun!
DeleteThe party looks so fun...and I see a cat sleeping in the background, not caring one bit about a party!! HaHa. The photos of your young men are so classy in black and white. That's going to be one big gratuation party!!! The neighbors granddaughter is having a fund raiser at school, so today Don and I spent several hours in the garage gathering things for their sale. Nice we just had to carry it next door, and I have a lot more room in the garage now.
ReplyDeletehaha...you're right! That looks like Samantha sleeping on my desk. There's usually at least one cat there...it's a great place to nap and watch the bird feeder in the tree. :)
DeleteWhat a great incentive to clear some things out of your garage! I'm sure your neighbor will appreciate the help with making their sale a fun success!
Nice fun post. Glad you're having a good weekend. We are too. Just a nice celebration weekend holiday over here. Snow gone now. Whew.
ReplyDeleteLove the Oreo shot.

ReplyDeletewell, good for you! nice to see you, too! :)
DeleteGreat pictures - of Oreo and the boys! Looks like a great celebration too. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad they cooperated! (for the most part!) I gave myself the whole week to accomplish the pics and it only took me about 10 minutes. I couldn't believe it! ha.
DeleteGreat shots indeed
ReplyDeleteOreo is waiting to feed
And definitely want louisville to win
For if they do I win the tournament thing at the work bin
And get a free vacation day
Not bad for randomly picking half the teams at my bay haha
Not bad at all
Deleteat your hall!
The men here picked Louisville, too!
So in good company are you!
They won, yipeee
DeleteAnother day off for me
Don't they have to win the crown
Deletebefore you can run around town? ha.
Great photos of you 4 graduates. Yes, I have had a nice weekend. We welcomes our new grandson o the world just after midnight.
ReplyDeleteaw...well, that's the best thing ever! how wonderful!

ReplyDeleteI pray life ahead is full of joy for them all. Such happy pic's.
Jake's a Girl
thank you! we have celebrations all year this year...how fun!
DeleteYes, one huge party to celebrate everyone's achievements will be easier on you (and your guests) than trying to do multiple ones.
ReplyDeleteI thought so, too...and all together will just be more fun!
DeleteHappy times and great pictures of all four boys! Love it!
ReplyDeletegetting through the graduation ceremony will be interesting to say the least. ha.
DeleteSuch big milestones ahead! What excellent photos, Betsy! My brother in law is here from California, we will spend tomorrow with our son and daughter in law at their house just 5 minutes from here. Life is good. Enjoy your weekend too!
ReplyDeletejust 5 minutes away...oh, how I love that. I have my fingers crossed that Taylor and Lauren will be that close! Yes, life is good...enjoy your wonderful weekend!
DeleteI can't believe how much Spencer, Alex and Harry look alike! I could really see it in the photo collage. Very handsome men you have. Enjoy the upcoming celebrations!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
yes, they really do! And Harry isn't even identical to the other two. Amazing, isn't it? ha.
DeleteWonderful photos!
ReplyDeletewhy, thank you Jenny!
DeleteHi Betsy .. lovely photos and the picture of Lauren with the boys blowing the candles out - what fun to see ... I love seeing them all together .. cheers Hilary
ReplyDeletethe highlight of any birthday here is how our boys respond. SO funny.
DeleteHappy Birthday to Lauren - she's so pretty! Those cupcakes look very tasty. And the shots of your men are great! Keepers, all of them. I agree with Brian... at first I thought that kitty was wedged into the birdfeeder on a covert mission! Ha!
ReplyDeleteyeah, she's gorgeous! :) ah, to be young again. haha.
DeleteI think if Oreo could have gotten in that feeder, she would have!
Fabulous pictures of the boys! I know exactly what you mean about getting a good group shot...it's almost impossible. Someone is always looking down or has his eyes shut. I, too, am still watching basketball: the ladies, though. My Cal Bears are in the Final Four, a first.
ReplyDeleteOh, I know! And taking them to a professional for a complete photo shoot would not have been worth it. i caught them when they were comfortable and happy...I'm happy with what I got and it didn't cost me a thing.
DeleteWell, best of luck to your lady team! yay for them!
Those outings to the photographer can be very stressful for special needs kids of any age. For that very reason, my daughter and her husband just invested in a new camera.
DeleteOh, it's so true. ..and our boys' school pictures through the years have told their own story....a very funny one! You just have to laugh!
DeleteWhat grand celebrations you have!
ReplyDeleteSo, is it Spencer and Harry who are identical? I still can't tell them apart....
It is Alex and Spencer that are identical. Harry just tagged along in that pregnancy. lol...
DeleteI had to leave S and A's hospital ID bracelets on after we got home because we could not tell them apart! Spencer has gotten so thin that it makes him look different, I think.
Beautiful pictures! Love the one of Oreo...
ReplyDeleteA month of Blog...
well, thanks! Oreo is a great photo subject. I love her coloring.
DeleteLovely happy family shots.
ReplyDeletethey do look happy, don't they? So fun!
DeleteVery clever cat! Oreo look so much like our BW.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday to Lauren. She is such a lovely girl : )
The photos of the boys are excellent! How exciting to have 4 graduations at once. You have a lot to celebrate.
Kind of funny how the graduations all came in the same month! But it does make for a great big party! :)
DeleteLove the pictures, and Oreo is precious :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch happy occasions at your home -- past and future! Happy birthday to Lauren, and what exciting graduation days ahead!
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome young couple Lauren and Taylor make! Happy birthday to Lauren! And how happy and relaxed all of your boys look! What a celebration it wil be, to have all of them graduating at once! And last but not least, what a dream of a mother-in-law you are, dear Betsy!- I would love to send some strawberry cake to you, but I am afraid, it would not turn out to be a very good idea
ReplyDeleteSo it is just my best regards
Christel
yes, I suppose the strawberry cake would be a bit worse for wear after travelling in the mail! haha.
Delete"Lovely Lauren" is lucky to be part of this family . . .
ReplyDeleteaw...thank you. I hope she thinks so! We feel lucky to have her!
DeleteCongrats all all those graduations!!!!!!!!! Are three of your boys triplets. What a wonderful group.
ReplyDeletesandie
