Q Is For Quack

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed!  haha.
I think I'm multitasking my multitasking!  I am
busy...crazy busy! I worked an auction yesterday
and work another tomorrow.  I also had a doctor's
appointment, a grocery trip and a day of planning
and shopping for a 4 way graduation party in a
couple of weeks!

This week The Mister and I also toured a new facility in
our county which has a free day program during the summer
for teens with autism.  They called and said they had
three spots remaining and wanted to offer them
to our boys!  Sounds great, but we are cautious.
We wanted to know more before we said yes and
asked for a tour and some time spent observing the
kids there and the staff.  More on that to come on this
at a later date.  But I will say that it was a good visit.

If it was up to me today, I'd send Spencer right away!
Haha...he's been hanging on my last nerve since
he got off the bus this afternoon.  lol....

I guess you can say I'm about to QUACK up.  haha.

I'm all linked up with the A to Z Challenge!

  6. Well quacking up at your sea
Is better than be a quack hanging from the crazy tree
    But yeah been there too
With numb tongues at your zoo haha
And seems like a ton on the go
Which is always the case at your show
But at least you aren't bored
Or tripping over a vacuum cord

  8. Oh what a cute "Quacker"...Yes, he'd look real cute in your zoo. Remember sometime ago when I daughter, Julie tried to save a baby sparrow, and took it to a shelter and it died... Well a couple of weeks ago, another brand new one fell, and Julie was determine to keep this one alive...I saw it today, sitting on her finger, chirping like crazy with all his feathers. Can't help but think of the book..."Are you my Mother?"...now Julie can say yes. More on this later.

    1. The placement is ours if we want it....we just want to make sure it's safe and well staffed. With them being non verbal, I worry that they can't communicate to us if something is wrong. But the place looked great...

  17. He's a qu-te little quacker for sure. ;-} Take it easy Hon - I can SO relate to running from one thing to another. Trust things slow down for you soon. Enjoy a good weekend. Anxious to know more about this place the boys could go to. I'm sure God will grant you wisdom. Hugs!

  20. Even if it's not your photo, it sure is cute.

We have a Mallard & his mate making a nest above our brook. So excited. They are graceful and lovely and we watch them early mornings as they swim up and down the brook. Spring is so great.

    1. oh, I would love to be able to see that in my back yard! How sweet...all the baby animals is one of the best things about spring! I need to go driving with my camera and find some farm babies!

  21. What a sweet spring picture! And how ingenious of you to do the "q"! And didn´t I mention already, that your energy is to be absolutely admired? So, if you could send your boys to that day plan place in summer, you might feel, you have to much leisure time!? When my life calmed down some time ago after some weeks of real hard work, I found it somewhat hard to calm down, too. So I took a very sick cat home, who could not go anywhere else and now I am very busy again... Reading through all cat blogs, finding the right food, persuading her to eat, learning how to give infusions...But on Sunday a friend and my son Daniel will take over and I will be going to Italy. Hope, I can enjoy it...
    Take care
