I'm feeling a little overwhelmed! haha.
I think I'm multitasking my multitasking! I am
busy...crazy busy! I worked an auction yesterday
and work another tomorrow. I also had a doctor's
appointment, a grocery trip and a day of planning
and shopping for a 4 way graduation party in a
couple of weeks!
This week The Mister and I also toured a new facility in
our county which has a free day program during the summer
for teens with autism. They called and said they had
three spots remaining and wanted to offer them
to our boys! Sounds great, but we are cautious.
We wanted to know more before we said yes and
asked for a tour and some time spent observing the
kids there and the staff. More on that to come on this
at a later date. But I will say that it was a good visit.
If it was up to me today, I'd send Spencer right away!
Haha...he's been hanging on my last nerve since
he got off the bus this afternoon. lol....
I guess you can say I'm about to QUACK up. haha.
I'm all linked up with the A to Z Challenge!

That's a mighty cute quacker!
ReplyDeleteHope things calm down for you. :)
Isn't he sweet! I need him for my zoo!
Deletewow, not much time to sit and enjoy your coffee, eh?
ReplyDeleteI remember having little ducklings like this at home when I was young. They're so cute!
No! I need that, you know! haha. Although, I am managing to drink it...just not in a relaxed way. lol... Did you have ducklings? Aww...I think they are so sweet!
Deletemy oldest brother had all kinds of pets around usually so I had lots of hands on experience. haha
Deleteone of my favorite pets was a lamb that I had named 'Snowball'
that sounds so fun! a lamb...I can't even imagine how cute that must have been! I really should live on a farm. haha.
DeleteCute little duckly duddle. If he was here he would be wading in a puddle. We have had so much rain this week that we have a small lake in our backyard.
ReplyDeleteWhew... Sounds like you have been busy! Try to find a little time just for you. If that's possible : )
we've had rain, too...it sure made everything green all at once! Saturday I hope will be calmer. haha.
Deletewhat a cute photos, I hope it works out with the day program,
ReplyDeleteme, too...I really do. I think it would be good for them!
DeleteThat is the cutest baby duck!!!! His face is so expressive. Betsy, I know you will make an excellent choice for the boys... every time. I hope the summer school turns out to be a wonderful experience for all. Sending you a hug and a special thanks for your designation of "once a runner, always a runner". blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeletethanks, tanna...a wonderful experience is what I'm hoping for, too! I'm cautiously optimistic. :)
DeleteWell quacking up at your sea
ReplyDeleteIs better than be a quack hanging from the crazy tree
But yeah been there too
With numb tongues at your zoo haha
And seems like a ton on the go
Which is always the case at your show
But at least you aren't bored
Or tripping over a vacuum cord
Oh yes, both I can do
Deleteas well known by you!
And I also vacuumed this week
but it could be done again, I think!
Scare some of the kitties doing it twice
DeleteThey may bring you more dead mice haha
The last mouse Marmy didn't want to share
Deletebut ate it all...feet and hair.
hahaha. ew.
I do hope that this ends up being a positive place for the boys to spend some time. Important for the both of you!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI do, too....I'll talk more about this and my apprehensions.
DeleteOh what a cute "Quacker"...Yes, he'd look real cute in your zoo. Remember sometime ago when I daughter, Julie tried to save a baby sparrow, and took it to a shelter and it died... Well a couple of weeks ago, another brand new one fell, and Julie was determine to keep this one alive...I saw it today, sitting on her finger, chirping like crazy with all his feathers. Can't help but think of the book..."Are you my Mother?"...now Julie can say yes. More on this later.
ReplyDeleteoh, I can't wait to hear the rest! She sounds like she's related to me. ha.
DeleteOh I forgot to mention I'm excited that you may have found a good place for the boys this summer. You are such a busy lady...but love your adventures we can all share.
Deletethanks for that...hope you'll pray for us to be wise about where we put the boys!
DeleteTeals (the duck-like kind) must be quackers too. Perhaps this is really my problem...
ReplyDeleteMultitasking multitasking is just too much. Ask me, I know.
yep...I sail along pretty well and then after months, I feel like I'm going to scream. ha. That was today. I need to go to bed. lol....
DeleteIs that one of your photos? So cute...
ReplyDeleteYour week sounds like mine...no time for one's self...
Oh well...that is what busy Moms do, eh?
Good news about the boys...fingers crossed :o)
Glad you liked my thrifty finds...I love it!!!
Humid...rainy...thundery tonight..
Cheers!
Linda :o)
no...not mine...the credit is there in the post. :)
DeleteI see that now....kinda teenie!!!
DeleteSo Betsy quack.is like ducks??
ReplyDeleteHe is sooo cute I adore little ducks

Is really good this site to the kids to summer:)
Hope you have more quiet the next days; here was a busy day too Ditto is sick with a terrible cold and I have a headache all day but you know how is.xo

DeleteI think I need a flock of ducks, don't you? ha.
Yes I would love some ducks but I can see Mouska running for the ducks sigh!
Deleteoh yes...maybe it could be a game of tag? or maybe not! lol...
DeleteThat little duckie has a smile on its face!!!! Have a good auction day tomorrow .....
ReplyDeletethanks, helen...it should be a fun time!
Delete:-)
ReplyDeleteHangry ?
Pierre
aw...he's too little to eat!
DeleteI am missing most of the alphabet, last time I visited it was M, well, I have no idea how you can blog almost every day, I am happy if I can make it once a week.;) Love the duckling and looking forward to hear what you have decided about the school.,) It must be a strange feeling for you to imagine being without the boys...
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend dear Betsy,
xoxo
strange but wonderful? yes, I think so. I hope it works out, too!
DeleteHi Betsy .. just love your take on life - a blessing for one and all. I do hope the Centre works out for all concerned - that will make a difference to you ... good luck with all that planning too ..
ReplyDeleteLove the duckling - cheers Hilary
well, thanks hilary...you're such a sweet lady to come and encourage me every day. :)
DeleteWe also are hoping things work out for the boys during the summer. Graduations and a wedding, wow you are busy.
ReplyDeletewell, the wedding isn't keeping me busy...at least not just yet :) But my calendar is full of other things....long term stuff for the boys, appointments and just a general craziness that has been brewing. haha.
DeleteHi Betsy, glad that you found an option for the boys for the summer. I look forward to hearing more about it and hope that it works out well.
ReplyDeleteThe placement is ours if we want it....we just want to make sure it's safe and well staffed. With them being non verbal, I worry that they can't communicate to us if something is wrong. But the place looked great...
DeleteHe's a qu-te little quacker for sure. ;-} Take it easy Hon - I can SO relate to running from one thing to another. Trust things slow down for you soon. Enjoy a good weekend. Anxious to know more about this place the boys could go to. I'm sure God will grant you wisdom. Hugs!
ReplyDeletethanks, dear... :)
DeleteI sure hope something happens to calm your life down... you need it, and deserve it.
ReplyDeletewell, the weekend is free...that will help! ha.
DeleteI am WITH YOU....a NUTTY CRAZY week.
ReplyDeleteI hope the day program turns out to be a GOOD plan for the guys...they just might LOVE it.
I hope they love it...I really do! It sounds like fun!
DeleteEven if it's not your photo, it sure is cute.
ReplyDeleteWe have a Mallard & his mate making a nest above our brook. So excited. They are graceful and lovely and we watch them early mornings as they swim up and down the brook. Spring is so great.
oh, I would love to be able to see that in my back yard! How sweet...all the baby animals is one of the best things about spring! I need to go driving with my camera and find some farm babies!
DeleteWhat a sweet spring picture! And how ingenious of you to do the "q"! And didn´t I mention already, that your energy is to be absolutely admired? So, if you could send your boys to that day plan place in summer, you might feel, you have to much leisure time!? When my life calmed down some time ago after some weeks of real hard work, I found it somewhat hard to calm down, too. So I took a very sick cat home, who could not go anywhere else and now I am very busy again... Reading through all cat blogs, finding the right food, persuading her to eat, learning how to give infusions...But on Sunday a friend and my son Daniel will take over and I will be going to Italy. Hope, I can enjoy it...
ReplyDeleteTake care
Christel
well, I sure hope the sick cat continues to improve...glad your son can take over as caregiver. :) Enjoy Italy! xo
DeletePotentially great news...a day school for the boys. I appreciated that you and the Mister are cautious about placing the boys into the day facility. Lots of love here!
ReplyDeleteYour plate is full. If I could, I'd extent a helping hand.
wish you lived close...but not for the help! I'd want to go have fun! haha.
DeleteThis is so cute Betsy, absolutely love this photo. Sorry to hear that you've been so busy, working in these auctions sounds like fun despite how busy it's been keeping you, maybe I'm wrong though!
ReplyDeleteI do love working the auctions, you are right...they are a lot of fun! And it's Friday..everything seems better already! lol....
