My Woodpecker Friend

Miss Downy Woodpecker.
At least I think she's single.
She's always dining alone!
I guess she heard that polka dots are back in style!
And black and white is always so chic!

  2. We had a pair of these, male and female, in our yard this morning climbing up and down a tree trunk. The black-wite-red combination made them striking to see.

But sheik? Like Arab leader? Those are male ... Sorry for not getting the connection. Maybe chic?

    1. Thanks, Christel. I think I've just lucked out in the location of my desk window and where I've put the feeder. It gives me lots of opportunities to snap that great photo. It sure has become a fun hobby and I love that you're enjoying it with me!
