Stand tall and proud.
Remember your roots.
Drink plenty of water.
Be content with your natural beauty.
Generously share what you have.
Go out on a limb.
Embrace each season.
Bloom where you're planted.
Dance in the rain.
Enjoy the view.

  13. Tree might have said more:

    Branch out in many directions
Don't go out on a limb!
    Twig every problem
Turn over a new leaf now and then!
Don'r sap too much energy in the sun
Don't bark up the wrong tree
    Be proud of your rings

  21. Hi Betsy,

I cannot think of the name of the book that is about two trees and the Mom tells them to stand strong against the wind and to not take the easy way out and bend with the wind. It tells the trees many things and one always listens and the other one does not. So the one that listened grew tall and strong while the other one was all twisted and deformed and could not survive. Really good story that all the young kids should hear. Lots of good advice from trees. I like your list.

    God bless.
