ReplyDeletenice...so much to learn from a tree...i am rather fond of how it draws its history in rings internally as well...and does as deep as it does tall...

DeleteHi Betsy,
ReplyDeleteI cannot think of the name of the book that is about two trees and the Mom tells them to stand strong against the wind and to not take the easy way out and bend with the wind. It tells the trees many things and one always listens and the other one does not. So the one that listened grew tall and strong while the other one was all twisted and deformed and could not survive. Really good story that all the young kids should hear. Lots of good advice from trees. I like your list.
God bless.
Oh, I love that addition....bend with the storms of life! The books sounds wonderful, too!
DeleteVery wise...and I enjoyed Eddie's additions.
ReplyDeletehe's a very witty man...and wise, too, evidently! haha. (oh, can't wait til he sees this. lol....)
