Golden

It was the golden things that caught my eye today!

The last of the lovely fall colors still holding on.
And with the time change, the sun sets while I make dinner
and calls me from the window at the kitchen sink.

    1. I have to admit that it was very distracting today. I'd walk through the kitchen while I was working and have to stop for a photo! lol....

  6. I love those little crab apples!

The birds were busy again today. I bought them some yummy food and a new feeder today. I had one of the boys check to see if there IS a storm coming. He says there is. :) Maybe some snow? Yippee :)

Lovely sunset! I was snapping pictures of the one here tonight as well!

    1. those crabapples amaze me! You don't know how many there are until the leaves fall! I think some small branches will have to come in and be a pretty edging around the Thanksgiving turkey!

I heard there's a Noreaster coming! Poor people in New England, though!

  9. I love the golden moments of fall. I think they are my favorite. That and the bronzed oak leaves.

It must get dark just a wee bit earlier here than there. I wonder how our sunset times compare?

  11. It always makes me sad when the time change first happens... the days feel like they are so short. I can deal with early morning dark better than early evening dark. ;) LOVE the little bird-backside photo! blessings ~ tanna

  12. I really try to count my blessings and not pout. Especially in light of the tragedy that is the E. Coast right now. We had the most beautiful lot when we lived in upstate NY. I miss that drama of the changing leaves sooooo much. I am not a tropical climate kind of girl...but, I do try to count my blessings which are so numerous! You photos sure do help!

  14. I really think the pictures are gorgeous, I think my favorite is the one of the sun and how the sun looks like it is sitting on a pink gem. Just beautiful how you caught it at just the perfect moment.

We are going to be in the 90's here today. Very hard to get into the Fall Spirit with such hot temps and still running the A/C. I wish we could send some of our warm weather to the victims of the storm, it would be such a nice gift. I can only pray that it warms up for them and have seen that many are donating Jackets and warm clothing. We are blessed to be able to help each other.

Hope you have a relaxing day and take more pics.

    God bless.
