A Little Hostess Gift

You know how I love those little trash to treasure projects! :)
I picked up this little basket at the thrift store for 29 cents.

We went to a small dinner party last Friday night at the home of
some of The Mister's coworkers.  I wanted to see her home and
get to know her a little bit before picking out a little hostess gift.

She made a scrumptious berry cobbler for dessert and said she
called it Forest Berry Cobbler, just because it sounded
fancier than simply "berry cobbler". ha ha.
So, that kind of became an ongoing joke through out the evening.
Well, that gave me an idea of what to do to my little basket!

The next day I got out my paints and did this...

A little reminder of the evening and her yummy dessert!

And it was less expensive and more personal than
the traditional bottle of wine, don't you think?
I sent it to work with The Mister yesterday in
a little gift bag along with a thank you note.
