I've been noticing siskens too and thought it a little unusual. hmm - I'm with Laurie. We are thankful for bright cheery bloggers like you! God bless you and your sweet family!
Thanks, Martha~! I'm so glad to have met you here!
I had to look up the sisken! I thought it was a goldfinch at first! You'd think with 14 cats out there, I wouldn't have any birds at all! ha. They seem to be more interested in mice than birds right now. lol....
Yes....I echo those sentiments... Have a great day...with your special family, Betsy.. I have not seen those sweet little birds around here... Do they have a special song???
My windows are clean. Now I can take pictures of my feathered friends too. Oh yes, and those "fur-birds" too, as my friend calls them.
My baking is talking to me now. (The batter said "HI!" on the inside of the can.) Do you think I'm losing it? (I can't post pictures now unless I upgrade Picasa. I am out of space...)
You are the third person that has said that about Picasa recently. If you reduce the size of your photos, that will solve the problem. And you can set your downloading from your camera to a smaller size to begin with, to prevent it from happening again. Hope that makes sense!...and it's easier to email photos, too, that way.
No, I don't think you delete them! You will loose them! Linda in Canada told how to do it on her blog. You could ask her. Look at her posts...it was about 2 weeks ago.
Happy thanksgiving dear Betsy, hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving with your lovely five men and your daugther in love, loads of love and blessings Betsy!!
Thanksgiving hugs to you, Betsy! I'm so thankful for your sweet smile that greets me through the computer screen. I think I would recognize you anywhere. Have a lovely, lovely holiday!
Happy Thanksgiving Betsy and all those you love and care for. I had to laugh and thought of you when Martha's brown bread said "HI"...Also she thought my Sour Cream Coffee cake was smiling. ABC Wed. We really get into our food don't we?? HaHa
Well Betsy, I certainly have to Ditto! those thoughts...both yours - being thankful for you - and the scripture, which of course, is truth no matter what else is going on around us. May you and yours be blessed with a special memory-making filled day of gratefulness. Thank YOU for all the ways you inspire and brighten days for so many of us. XO

Pierre
he is a sweet little thing, isn't he?
DeleteHave a great holiday
ReplyDeleteAnd if leftovers do get boring your way
Sure plenty of kitties will join the fray
And make short work of them at your bay
As I picked the carcass free of scraps
Deleteall the kitties arose from their naps
and gathered around my feet
and cried, "Give me something to eat!"
hahaha
