Stop and Smell The Roses



Or, slow down and look at the colors!
And in this case, something out of my control made me slow down!


But it ended up being a blessing in disguise....


The winding road made it impossible to pass for a while, but I had my camera...


And captured the color to share with you!

  1. Beautiful! It's looking good here too. Much as I hate that white stuff that comes after Fall, I love the beauty of Fall. :)

    Oh yes...and of course , My boyfriend!!!!

  6. ha had a very similar incident the other day...a blessing to slow down....even if i was going to be late...smiles....we are getting there...the trees are starting to figure out it is fall....heading up the mountains next weekend so hoping for some more change before hand...

  7. I am hoping to get out and away to find some colors while the sun (hopefully) shines tomorrow. The colors are mostly south of here in the higher elevations. The hills of the Finger Lakes are probably at peak right now.

  10. This has been an amazing fall color year...I thought with the drought things would just turn brown and fall off, boy was i wrong! (O; Great photos!
