Auction Day

A busy, busy, busy day.
Did I mention it was busy? ha.
I only took these two pictures.

One is my not-so-secret admirer. lol.  :)
He's a gruff, grouchy, quick tongued old man but for some reason
I melt his old cold heart.  He gets in my line to cash out...even if it's
the longer one.  He always tells me I look nice.  And once he tapped my
wedding rings with his pen and said, "He's a lucky man."
Um, yeah.  He's got it bad.  Makes me smile.  haha.

The other is what they were calling a "Gone With The Wind" lamp.
Maybe it could have been a Polly Anna Lamp?
It was beautiful!

And I'm exhausted.  I did bring home a box full of 'trash',
which I'll have to wash up tomorrow.
I'm sure some of it will end up in the etsy shop.

Thanks also, for those of you who voted for Jack!
See my sidebar.  He's winning by quite a few votes!

What did you do today?

  1. Another Facebook friend just posted a photo of her kitty inside the fridge. SO cute.

Love the Gone With the Wind lamp, especially after our stay at the Gone With the Wind Bed and Breakfast this past June. Very pretty! How much did it sell for?

  7. I guess it is nice to have an admirer and to be able to stay busy. That lamp is really beautiful. So glad you got more "trash". I just wish my hubby would let me buy some, but then I have so much stuff that I could open my own store. And I mean a real store. I would buy that pumpkin in a heartbeat, I love Carnival Glass and it has such a nice history. Maybe someday I will be able to buy something that doesn't take up much room.

    God bless.

  10. I always love your posts about the "auction day." And I especially like all the "goodies" you bring home from the trash! That makes me wonder about auctions around here... maybe go do some dumpster diving afterwards! Hahahaha... but I haven't yet. And I love the lamp. Beautiful.

  13. My day wasn't so busy as usual, the computer system at work was down - I deleted lots of old emails though! I think the lamp a good deal more appealing than Mr Grumpy, though I think you could charm the hardest of hearts.
