A Triple Birthday Celebration

Of course there had to be a train-themed cake!
Peanut butter cake with chocolate-peanut butter frosting.
And the boys loved the train in the tunnel!

Yesterday, we took the boys to That's Entertrainment in Cincinnati.
It's the world's largest indoor electric train display.
They've been before and really love it.

Then we came home and sang, blew out the candles and had cake.
Well, they didn't have cake, but the rest of us did! :)
I did offer, but they all turned up their noses. ha.

They picked out so many DVDs and other gifts in the
gift shop, that we decided that those, along with the
tickets for the train display, were way more than generous
for birthday gifts.  The gifts I had bought have been put
away for Christmas!  Hey, I can say that I've already
started my Christmas shopping! ha.

It was a fun day and the guys really enjoyed themselves!

Happy 19th birthday, boys!
And thanks so much for all of your good wishes to them
the last few days.  You guys are great!

  25. No to cake? I would have eaten a piece or two ;o) I have a student with autism and all he wants to eat is ketchup. He'll eat other stuff as long as he can dip it in ketchup :op

    1. My alex loves ketchup....and he's our best eater! He'll try most anything with ketchup on it!

    2. The other day, this student's assistant told me that his mom is starting to blend other foods into his ketchup (think turn it into baby food and then add it to the ketchup)including apple sauce. Made me squeamish thinking about it but the student was sitting there eating it.
