  5. What can I say
    For the gold and grey
    It prob maes good hay
Or a place to hide during the day
    A fun place to play
    Where many join the fray
    Or there they lay
    Far away from the bay
    With a food tray
    Saying stuff like hey
    From March to May
    Quite the display
    This gold and grey
Now I've surely had my say
And put Gloria oh dear-ing into dismay
    Back and forth she'll sway
    Under a sunny ray
All because the gold and grey
    Brought out this rhyme today.

  15. Gorgeous Barn! What a soft natural combination of colors. We have such a soft spot for barns don't we?! I find I really have to drive off the beaten path to find the good ones.

    1. Yeah, and I don't know why, since I'm a city girl through and through. But I do love stretches of crops and farm land and their cute farm houses, barns and silos. And I'm surrounded by them!

  16. You have some great subject material for photos. I'm so jealous!
Luv the texture of the corn (?). Do you have more photos of that?

    NOTE to Linda:
Hi. Just wanted to shout out to you.
I have the same problem with getting my hubby to slow down or even stop
so I can snap a few photos. It's maddening I know! I've only gotten him
to stop once and even then I had to threaten to choke him. Just kidding,
of course, and he laughed but it worked.

    1. I think I already deleted the other photos! ha. Did some cleaning of my files last night. I love it when the corn is completely dried like that.
