  2. They are so pretty! Black velvet is the perfect name. Looks like our skippy. In the sun his coat kinda looks like black satin, too. So shiny! He is a bluish black, whereas our Bear is a brownish black. Your velvet looks like a bluish black from the photo.

    1. Well, neither would let you touch them. And mom would hiss. haha. She hisses while taking food. But she's warming up slowly but surely. :)

  4. I love your black velvet cats! Too bad I am not in the position to want another kitty just yet.

On another note, I found the perfect website for you.

    3. No, I had to go back and look.
When I was a little girl and asked what was for dinner, my dad used to say, "Possum innards."

  8. They are both so beautiful and do look fairly blue on my screen. I hope the little ones become friendly so they can be fixed. Have you named them yet?

    God bless.

    1. No, I haven't named them...waiting to see the sexes. ha. And they've spent the night here the last few nights, so I think they are here to stay! They still run if they see me, so I have some work to do in befriending them. It would help if mama wouldn't hiss when I stepped through the back door. haha. But that's her way...as with all mamas protecting their babies.

  9. You did indeed give her a perfect name. I had a pint of Guinness in the pub last night, as dark and as smooth as your cat. As you say, perfect.

  14. She's either having a nap
    Or doesn't like your snap
    Blinding her a bit
As her eyes are never open as they sit
Or maybe she is too high and mighty for that
Surely picked the right name for her at your mat
