    1. Yep...it helps to go to a phlebotomist....and for people all over the world to be praying....and thanks to Yuji for telling me to make them drink a lot of water before we went. :)

And good for you....wondered if you would take that job. You didn't even miss a paycheck, did you? I've been praying. :) Ah, the morning train again? Yep...but it will become routine soon.

    1. Spencer was the last, so he was a little apprehensive after watching his brothers. But The Mister was there..and an extra phlebotomist, so between all of us, he couldn't really get away. lol....

  13. See it was all the extra prayer of a feline
That truly made it just fine
    Or maybe the water thing
Or maybe the person letting the needle fling
Pffft we'll go with that cat
So the ego can rise at his mat hahaha

    1. thanks, zuz...we're having a fun relaxing day at home with all the stress behind us! :)

  17. I'm so glad it went well! Stuff like bloodwork can be so stressful--my husband has a terrible time with it--they can't find his veins, and he hates needles. :)

    1. next time tell him to drink a lot of water before he goes...I think that made a huge difference!

  18. Oh gosh, that would be really hard. My son passes out at the sight of blood, needles, or heavy discussion of medical procedures. I almost want to ask his doctor to give him a blood test while he is still younger so I can go with him and help him through it. As it is, he will probably have his blood test when he is too old for his 'mommy' to go with him. I hope you boys were brave! Did you bribe them? I would!! Ice creams all around!

    1. yes..I bribed them with a big bag of their favorite potato chips. haha. They munched all the way home. :) I take it your son will not be going into the medical field for a career? lol....

    1. We ended up going to Compunet, right across the street from the hospital. Someone suggested the phlebotomists there would be better and we wouldn't have to wait through all the hospital registration. They were SO right! Glad we went there...they were great.

  20. Wow, glad to see that it all went so well. Even taking one child can be hard but three is an event. You are a most patient woman.

  21. Oh boy! I'm glad that went well, and quickly! My daughter used to faint every time she had blood drawn as a child...thank goodness she outgrew that trait...lol!

    1. They didn't faint and watched carefully! haha. I got very dizzy last time I had blood drawn...but they filled 4 vials and I thought I would have none left! lol....
