haha bet you enjoyed your soitude once more There at your shore They sorta look impressed to go back And then no so wanting to go to that school shack Or maybe that's just you With the camera in view And hahahaha sneezes must come Closes ones eyes sadly doesn't wish away mom haha
yes, they were cracking me up...all happy until they saw the camera. Then Spencer kept sneezing...he's allergies! oh my...ragweed...and they just wanted to hurry up and go! lol....
I think if they would admit it they would all be (mostly) ready to go back but the oldest one is the only one that readily says the words in plain English. :)
I posted a picture from tonight of the whole crew :)
Oh poor Spencer's nose! lol...it was so drippy and itchy. But I think they survived the day alright. They do make the most hilarious faces, that is for sure. ;)
I think I am ready for September. I'll be standing at the end of the driveway with one small girl again. I am not, however, looking forward to getting up early on dark winter mornings.
I just got back from Michigan but am too wound up to sleep...I needed a good laugh before bed and you do not disappoint! Spencer looks wonderful...maybe I should cut cheese out of my diet too. Hoping for a wonderful year for the guys and a much deserved rest for you too!
I had a good laugh taking the pictures, and then editing them later. lol!
Spencer lost over 40 pounds! The other two don't eat cheese...so there isn't a simple solution there. You live in Wisconsin...you can't cut out cheese...I'm sure it's against the law there! lol....
haha...I was cracking myself up writing it. Their expressions are just so hilarious! At first I thought I didn't have a single photo turn out and then I thought, well, they are all hilarious...I'll use them all! hahaha.
These are great shots and you made memories with the captions. Three brothers growing up together, going through the trials and tribulations of life. Great blog today :)
Love the relaxed pose and Spencer's arms around the other two, so sweet. I must say they do look a bit tired! I'll bet you enjoyed your alone time - you deserve it too!
Oh my Betsy! I just laughed and laughed! Brilliant captions! The boys are soooooo funny and SO annoyed with mom and camera!!! Spencer has slimmed down SOOOOO much! If I give up cheese will I look THAT good????
He's almost too skinny! I give him extra chips to help that out! haha....and actually he gets a low fat cheese stick, too...but we're never going back to 2 lbs a day. lol....
As a secial education teacher who just completed my 2nd day of my 33rd year of teaching, THIS WAS THE FUNNIEST BLOG POST EVER! Really EVER! I would love to crawl behind you eyes sometime and observe your kids the way you observe them.
Aw, Hi Chansen! Wow...33 years! You have a special gift, that is for sure, in loving special education! And you, then, would understand my mantra that you must have a sense of humor as a survival technique. :) Glad to make you laugh and thanks for commenting. :)
I think that is so cool how you captured such a great moment and it really does look like they were thinking those things. You should add mind reading to your resume which is a very important skill that almost all mothers learn out of necessity. It is funny that if you watch most Mother's they do seem to have this ability in varying levels depending upon the age of the child. I also think this is a skill women also need for their husbands too. Maybe it is not so much mind reading as we are just able to.....okay it is a form of mind reading. I cannot think of another way to describe how we know what they need before they even say a word. Or it could be we have body reading language skills which is still a form of mind reading. Women are so lucky to be blessed with such intelligence. LOL
haha..oh, I totally agree...it's a mother's gift. Father's do not have it. ...or at least the one in this house doesn't. He'll say, "What does he want?" and I'll say what it is...and he'll say, "I never would have guessed that!" lol.... Just another reason God made us....so our kids would survive! ha.
Hihi, this is way too cute.;) I have had the kids this week (3 kids total) and have been en extra mommy and enjoying packing lunches and cooking dinners, but man I will sure be tired comes Sunday.;))) xoxo
